Threatening a Wolf

Gin's POV

Amira and I are at the grill like usual after a full moon for breakfast. When Liz comes over dressed in her uniform. "Hi Liz, sheriff today?" I ask her.

"Yes, I was wondering if I could talk to you about Mason" she states.

"What about him?" I ask her.

"Heard from him recently?" she asks me.

"Nope" I tell her. "Didn't even say goodbye to Amira before leaving" I state.

"You didn't find that odd?" she asks me.

"Not really, have you meet Mason?" I ask her. "Probably surfing in Florida" I state.

"Not quite, he's missing" she tells me.

"Missing?" I ask her confused.

"A friend of his from Florida arrived yesterday, he never returned to Florida. I've opened an investigation to it" she explains.

"I'll let you know if I hear anything" I tell her.

"Thanks, anyway I'm here to meet his friend at the bar. Have a nice day" she tells me. She heads over to the bar. I notice the woman who approached was the one eyeing Amira the other day. I glare at her. No doubt she's that wolf from last night, she comes near my daughter again. She's dead.

"Mummy, I'm full" she states.

"Ric!" I call and he comes over after talking to Stefan. "Think you could drop my daughter off? I have some business to take care of" I tell him.

"Sure, but be careful" he tells me. They left together. I notice Liz leave and head over to the wolf.

"You ever touch or come near my daughter again. You're dead, we clear?" I ask her.

"She doesn't belong with you, she belongs in a pack" she sneers. "Mason was a part of my pack, makes her mine" she states.

"She belongs to no pack, she is my daughter. Mason didn't even know about her until he returned here. So you stay the fuck away from my daughter, otherwise the vampires won't be the ones you have to worry about" I tell her.

"That a threat?" she asks me.

"You bet it is" I tell her. "Stay away from my daughter" I state and left. Storming past the Salvatores along the way. I decide to go check on Tyler.

"Gin, hey" he says.

"Hi Tyler, how are you feeling?" I ask him.

"Sore" he states.

"It gets easier, I promise" I assure him.

"I hope so, I can't believe Amira has been going through that all her life" he states.

"She's a tough kid" I tell him with a smile. "You know if you ever wanted to do it her way. You are always welcome to join us on our camping trip" I state.

"No, I don't want to risk hurting anyone" he tells me. I nod my head in understanding.

"Tyler there's a woman in town claiming to be a friend of Mason. Don't trust her, she tried to take my daughter from me" I tell him.

"Why would anyone steal a child from it's mother?" he asks confused.

"I don't know, but if she comes near my daughter again. She's dead" I tell him. "In fact, if I could I'd report her for hurting my daughter last night" I state.

"I'll be careful" he assures me.

"Thank you Tyler" I say. "Remember if you ever change your mind or need help. I'm here" I tell him. "Anyway I gotta get home, check on Amira" I state.

"I'm going to see Caroline, take care and give Amira a hug from me please" he tells me. I nod my head and left. I go home. I see Amira playing with Jeremy.

"Did Liz find you?" Jenna asks as she hands me a cup of coffee.

"Yeah she did, honestly I'm not worried about Mason" I tell her.

"His friend seems to think he would of called" she tells me.

"Not always, he went over a week one summer when he first got his license before checking in with anyone" I remind her.

"I remember that, man what a wild summer that was" she chuckles.

"What happened?" Ric asks as he joins us.

"We meet up with Mason and a few friends. Drove to Orlando" Jenna tells him.

"Went to Disney lands, it's where Jenna lost her V-card to Logan" I tease.

"So you lost yours too" she reminds me.

"We were all a little drunk" I tell Ric.

"Sounds like a wild weekend" he states.

"It was" Jenna tells him.

"Hey, where Elena?" I ask her.

"With Stefan" she tells me.

"Strange, just saw Stefan at the grill with his brother. She wasn't there" I state. I look at Ric.

"Probably meeting him there or something. I'll be back in a sec" she tells us and leaves the room.

"Where's my niece?" I ask Ric.

"Salvatore house with Rose" he states.

"Thank you" I tell him. "And thanks for bring Amira home" I tell him.

"You're welcome" he tells me. "How did it go?" he asks me curious.

"Threatened a wolf and survived" I tell him with a shrug. "Though I doubt that'll be the last we hear or see of her. She better pray she stays away from my daughter" I state. He chuckles.

"Mummy, come play with us!" Amira calls.

"Duty calls, see you around Ric" I tell him. I join the other two and see they are playing guitar hero. Amira hands me the sticks for the drums. "What song?" I ask Jeremy.

"Rocking roll" he states as he holds the guitar. Amira with the mike. The song starts and we start to play. We had a relaxing day at home and had an early night as Amira was tired as she always is the day after a full moon.
