Jenna Stabs Herself

Gin's POV

I'm at the Lockwood Mansion with Jenna and Amira. There are people everywhere helping to set up for the Masquerade Ball. Which is this weekend. Amira is helping with masks while Jenna and I speak to Carol. "Thanks for helping wrangle the volunteers you two" she tells us.

"Of course, it's for a good cause. Plus, I have always been a sucker for the Masquerade Ball" Jenna tells her.

"It was always my favourite event, Amira is super excited for it" I state.

"So was Richard. This was always his favorite party of the year" Carol tells us. As Matt and Tyler carry a table into the room and almost drop it. Carol looks over at them. "Boys! Be careful with that! It's from the 1800s" she tells them. She looks at Jenna and I. "Excuse me" she tells us and goes to watch the boys.

"I'm gonna go check on Amira" I tell Jenna.

"Ok, don't forget dinner tonight" she tells me.

"I haven't forgotten" I assure her and left. I find Amira admiring a teal mask. "What you got there sweetie?" I ask as I kneel in front of her.

"For you mummy" she says offering it to me. "It'll like great with your dress" she states. I look at the mask and realize she is right. I smile and kiss her cheek.

"It's perfect my little angel, thank you" I tell her. "Excited for the mask ball?" I ask her.

"It'll be like we're in Barbie and the Three Musketeers!" she giggles.

"Hopefully with less drama" I tell her and pop bop her nose. "Lets go ask your Aunt Carol if I can wear it" I state. She nods her head and we go to search for Carol. We find her. "Hey Carol, Amira found this mask. It'd go great with my dress for the ball, may I wear it?" I ask her.

"Of course you can" she tells me. "I also made this for little Amira" she says handing her a pink mask. Amira squeals happily.

"I think she loves it" I tell her with a smile. Amira nods her head. "Anyway, we gotta go. Jenna's having a family dinner tonight" I state.

"Of course, see you both at the ball" she tells me. Amira and I go outside. Mason appears.

"Daddy!" Amira cheers and hugs him.

"Hey darling, think I can speak to your mum?" he asks her. She nods her head. I spot Elena.

"Go talk to Elena" I tell Amira pointing to her. Amira nods and runs over to Elena. "What's up?" I ask Mason.

"The Salvatores killed people and now Liz is missing" he tells me.

"You caused that by going after them" I remind him.

"I think you and Amira should leave town. It's not safe" he states.

"You don't control me Mason, and any say you had in Amira's life. You lost when you threatened my niece" I sneer. "Besides the Salvatores and I have a truce, they won't touch my daughter. You on the other, should probably leave town before the retaliate" I tell him.

"You really expect that truce to last?" he asks me.

"Yes, because I'm not stupid enough to go after them" I state. "Good bye Mason" I say and left him. I collect Amira and say goodbye to Elena. Before going home with Amira.

(Time skip)

Dinner should be ready soon. I'm helping Jenna and Alaric in the kitchen while Amira watches TV with Jeremy. "You're pretty handy with that thing" Jenna tells Alaric while he chops the veges with a knife.

"Yeah, well, it's a skill" he says with a chuckle. "Here" he says. Alaric grabs a piece of food and feeds it to Jenna. He kisses her. I roll my eyes. "Where's the, um, where's the sea salt?" he asks.

"Table" Jenna answers and they kiss again.

"You know what, why don't I set the table and leave the food to you lovebirds?" I ask them. Jenna blushes and Alaric chuckles. I grab the plates and cutlery. I go set the table as Elena appears. 'Are you ok?' I mouth and she nods her head. She points upstairs and I nod. She left to go change.

"Aunt Gin, I'm not really hungry. So I'm gonna head to my room" Jeremy tells me as I finished the table. The phone began to ring, Jenna said she had it.

"Ok, but if you get hungry later. There'll be left overs in the fridge" I tell him. He nods his head and goes upstairs. I go join Amira in the lounge as Jenna answered the phone. Elena appears as dinner is nearly ready.

"Where is Jeremy?" she asks me.

"In his room, said he wasn't hungry" I tell her.

"Dinner is nearly ready" Alaric tells us.

"Yeah!" Amira cheers and we all smile.

"Who is she talking to?" Elena asks nodding to Jenna.

"I don't know"Ric tells her. "Everything go okay today?" he asks her.

"There were a few hiccups, but yeah" she tells him.

"Of course, I understand" Jenna states as she joins us. She holds the phone out to Elena. Saying it was for her. Elena took it and Jenna returned to the kitchen.

"Hello" Elena says into the phone. Elena looks at Ric, who looks questioningly at her. She walked out of the room.

"Amira, go wash up for dinner" I tell her. She nods and runs upstairs. "Do you know what's going on?" I ask Ric and he shakes his head. "I'm gonna go see who was on the phone" I tell him and head for the kitchen. Only to see Jenna holding a knife up. "Jenna, what are you doing?" I ask her confused. She looks at me, then stabs herself. "Jenna!" I shout and run over catching her as she fell.

"Jenna!" Ric shouts as he joined me with Elena.

"Elena, call an ambulance. Ric keep pressure on the wound" I instruct. Jeremy appears with Amira. Who can't see over the counter. "Jeremy take Amira upstairs and stay there" I tell him.

"Mummy, what's that smell?" Amira asks me.

"Do as I say and go upstairs with your cousin" I tell her. She nods and goes upstairs with Jeremy. "Stay with us Jenna, I can't lose you" I tell my sister. We soon hear the ambulance and I go with Jenna in it. Elena said she'd clean up and order take out for her & the other two. While Ric meet me at the hospital.
