Gin's POV
It's been five days since I put an offer on the house. I heard back three days ago. Tomorrow Amira and I get to move in. Our rooms and the living room are set up. The kitchen is stocked. Amira is so excited about the move. Anyway, Elena thought it'd be good to have a girls night. Sort of moving out party for Amira and I. Amira is really excited, it'll be her first girls night. Though Elena promised me there will be no alcohol.
Anyway, Amira woke me up wanting pancakes. While she ate, Jenna rants to me about Ric. Apparently they are have troubles. As he is keeping secrets. I feel guilty, for knowing them and not telling her. But it's not my story to tell and I don't want her involved in the supernatural life.
Speaking of the supernatural life. I've been doing research on witches and warlocks. Trying to find some sort of weakness. So that I can protect Amira and myself from them. So far, no luck. They are mortal and can die. But the trick is getting one to stand still long enough to kill them. Kind of hard when they have magic on their side. Apparently some spells require a lot of concentration. So if I can distract one long enough, I could kill one with a gun. But I really hope Amira and I never have to face an enemy witch or warlock.
"Aunt Gin" Elena says. I look at her and the other girls.
"Chinese food or pizza?" Caroline asks.
"I'm not fussed, Amira?" I ask.
"Chinese!" she cheers and we all chuckle.
"Like you had to ask" Elena says jokingly. Care says she'd get it and picks up her tablet. But freezes when she sees the picture of her and Matt. Bonnie says she'll do it and takes the tablet from her. "Do you believe that Jonas is being sincere?" she asks Bonnie.
"I don't know what to believe. I think he's at a loss. He's not sure who to trust" Bonnie states.
"Join the club" Elena tells her.
"Well, what are we going to do about this movie situation? What about "The Notebook"?" Care asks.
"No" Amira says.
"Caroline, how many times have you seen that movie?" Elena asks her.
"That is so not the point" Care states.
"I say we let Amira decide" I state. Elena agrees. While Bonnie finishes ordering our food as Jenna appears. "Hi twin of mine" I say with a smile. As Elena says 'hey'.
"What's going on?" Jenna asks.
"My first girls night!" Amira squeals. I smile at my daughter, glad she is happy.
"How are you doing?" Elena asks Jenna.
"You heard about my fight with Ric" Jenna says looking at me.
"Sorry, she was concerned" I say sheepishly.
"He feels terrible" Elena tells her.
"Is this some kind of disguised attempt to cheer me up?" Jenna asks Elena and I.
