"Merliah! Where are you? Your coronation day is in three days, you must be here right now!" My father yells through the phone.

"Father, leave it be. For once I am to do something for myself and grow as a women. You took my choice of love away from me, I will not let you take away my life. I'll be gone for a while now, and I hope for you to stay on the throne for a while and be a little less selfish for once"

"Merliah!-

"I'll see you soon, father" I then hang up the phone, placing it back down onto the starbucks coffee table and looking back at Elias who has brought over two vanilla iced lattes.

I grab one from him, then quickly pulling down my hood over my face once again, as does Elias whilst he takes his seat opposite me.

We both went to a close by store and bought clothes that seemed ordinary and gave us the ability to hide from the outsiders.

That was disrespectful, my bad. To hide from others who may recognise us.

We both as a joke decided to change our names before we arrived at starbucks for a break after driving on his motorcycle for the last four hours.

Mines Allysa and Elias's is Leo.

We decided to leave without packing any bags, we wanted to go on his motorbike as that was the only form of transport we had that's his so now are trying to figure out where we could stay overnight and when we can go out and buy more clothes for us.

Being royalty means we have access to a lot of money.

Being an adult means we have access to our own source of money.

So with that, in total both I and Elias have six million three hundred and fifty eight thousand dollars.

I take a sip from my coffee, feeling the coldness of it run down my throat and send chills down my spine.

I look up at Elias and he's watching my every movement.

"I think I found a place for us to stay whilst waiting for the drinks. It's a nice five bedroom house up in the hills. We'd have to get it furnished but being... who we are, they're letting us stay as soon as possible" he says, voice quiet.

I nod my head, putting my coffee down and looking back at Elias.

"How far away is it from here?" I ask

"About half an hour. I can order two beds for us now if you want, then we could possibly have somewhere to sleep"

I nod my head in agreement once again, picking up my coffee.

"One bed's fine" I mutter, taking a sip.

"Ok" he says, voice low and quiet.

"Can we go to the shop first? Get some clothes" I ask, taking yet another sip at my drink.

"Yeah. But... I should ask" that grabs my attention.

"What do you think of your future. This house? Is this your future? Or the palace? Or somewhere else? Because if it is here then we might as well buy everything now, it would be best dropping off the bike at the house, getting an Uber to the car dealership and buying two for both of us. Everything will be a lot more accessible and easier for us" he blurts out, finishing half of his coffee now.

I think of his comment for a minute, repeating every word in my mind and trying to get my head around what I want.

"Truth is... I really don't know. But considering we have nowhere else to go, how about we start here." I suggest.

He nods his head, sealing the full lot of his coffee and throwing the cup into a bin besides him. I finish half of mine, still looking into his eyes as he starts to pull out his phone.

"I'll get the house sorted now, but It might take two hours or so to let them finish cleaning up. We could go to a few shops around the corner and order furniture for the house. Argos, I think is one. Maybe Ikea?"

I nod my head, "we could do that" I finish off my drink, silence between us.

I hand my cup to Elias who then puts it in the bin. We start to stand until a young girl - around the age of eleven - come up to us with a bright smile on her face.

I smile back, placing a hand to my heart as her adorable face melts it.

She's holding a piece of paper and pen, holding it out to me and Elias.

"Is that you Princess Merliah and Prince Elias? Can we have your autographs?" She pleads, jumping up and down lightly in excitement.

I bend down ever so slightly, reading to sign their papers before Elias places a hand to my shoulder, pulling me back up.

Confusion fills me, "I'm sorry. We aren't who you think we are. I'm Leo and this is Allysa, the prince and princess are hours away from here preparing for the coronation" he lies to them.

Her smile fades as she continue to look up at us.

I completely forgot that we aren't supposed to be know here. That we're supposed to be invisible and different people.

"Im sorry, sweetie, maybe you'll see her one day. But I've got a little secret... can I tell you it?" She nods her head, hoping for something exciting.

I bend down, my mouth close to her ear.

"I might know the princess and prince personally. If you tell me your names then I could tell them and they can one day see you. But you have to keep this between us, ok?" I whisper into her ear.

"I promise" she whispers back, "my name's May Banks"

She then begins to jump up and down, a smile bright on her face again. "Yes, yes, yes, yes!" she speaks aloud, running away from us.

"Mommy! Can we go please!" She yells, running to her mother.

I smile brightly, standing up properly and looking back at Elias.

"What did you say to her?" He asks questionable and serious.

"It's a secret" I say back, walking to exit with him following behind me.

"Seriously, Mer. She's like ten" he groans aloud.

"And I at eighteen don't break promises I made. And it's only Mer to those who show me mercy and respect unlike you" I open the door to exit, Elias shutting it behind him.

"And that's soon to change" he says to himself, although I am capable of hearing him.

I roll my eyes, placing the helmet over my head and sitting on the motorbike.

His attitude will take a lot getting used to.
