A catastrophe

Winter's PoV

BOOM. Something exploded and left a loud boom behind it, along with a crater and some casualties. Everything was flying. Mostly ice and some dragonets caught in the earthquake. Could it be, no ok now winter was thinking stupid. It couldn't be the Nightwings, they would freeze to death. It couldn't be any of the other tribes either. it could only be someone in this courtyard, right now. But who could've planned it? But he had other things to worry about than that. He would have to investigate later. All he needed to do was keep safe. He jumped over Lynx, covering her right before a huge icicle fell on them. Winter struggled against the weight of the ice above them. He wondered on what crumbled above them. But he realized something that he didn't earlier. He had changed. This isn't something he would do normally, but he didn't care. He vowed to protect Lynx, with all his strength and life. The ice became too heavy to handle, probably because of the dragons above.
