Nathalie’s alarm woke her up, she pressed the snooze button and she went back to bed, after her alarm going off for the second time today, Nathalie rubbed the tiredness out of her eyes and she was going to get ready for work.
Nathalie sat on the rim of her bed, feeling like a huge balloon, that would burst if she popped it, she clutched her consistently aching stomach, “no, please not today, not any day" she muttered to herself. She quickly grabbed a menstrual cup and menstrual pants and she headed to the bathroom.
Once Nathalie had sat on the toilet seat, she saw her neon green panties and white pyjama trousers covered in her period blood.
Nathalie took deep breaths to try and calm herself down, she wiped herself clean and she stuck a menstrual cup up her coochie.
Nathalie stripped herself naked and she chucked her underwear and pyjamas in the laundry basket. She put her black menstrual pants on and she stared at her tummy, looking at how bloated it was.
Nathalie walked out of her bathroom wearing just her pants, she rummaged through her wardrobe to find something that would cover up her hard, bloating stomach. Instead of wearing her usual attire, Nathalie was wearing a black bra to match her panties, black sweatpants to hide her bloating, a black t-shirt, black flats for the comfort of her feet and a fleece jacket to keep herself warm.

Nathalie checked the time on her phone and it read 08:20am, “oh my God, Adrien will be late for school” she started to panic a little, she phoned Adrien and he told her that they were waiting for her in the car.
Nathalie apologised for being late and she sat next to Adrien in the car.
While the bodyguard was driving towards Adrien’s school, Nathalie and Adrien were having a little conversation, “howcome you were late today? And what’s with the change of clothing?” he interrogated “my alarm clock woke me up late and I changed my usual look, because I was cold” she lied to the boy, because she couldn’t tell him what really happened.
A few minutes later, Nathalie started to feel another dull ache shooting through her abdomen and she held her stomach, “Nathalie, are you ok?” Adrien questioned “yeah, I’m fine, I’ve just got a bad stomach flu, that’s all" she lied again.
Nathalie dropped Adrien off at school and the bodyguard drove her back to the mansion.
Nathalie sat at her desk and she started doing her work. While she was working, she kept feeling the uneasiness of her stomach and she had to stop every few minutes, until the pain had calmed down.
Gabriel had noticed Nathalie constantly applying pressure to her stomach and he knew something was wrong, “Nathalie, are you ok?” Gabriel questioned “I’m fine” she replied bluntly “please Nathalie, don’t lie to me, I know something is wrong" he spoke with concern “it’s just my period" she spoke the truth.
“I’m sorry, does it hurt, because I know some women don’t experience any pain during their time of the month and some do” Gabriel acknowledged “I’ve just got cramps in my stomach and I’m bloating” Nathalie described her symptoms.
Gabriel walked up to her desk, “you should take the rest of the day off, because your clearly in pain” Gabriel advised her “sir, I’ve got too much work to do, to be taking time off" Nathalie answered “I’ll be doing your work, while you rest and no, it’s not up for a negotiation” he said firmly.
Nathalie didn’t have the energy to put up with Gabriel’s stubborn behaviour, so she retreated to her bedroom.
Nathalie rested on the sofa with a hot water bottle against her stomach, while watching TV in her room.
A few minutes later, she heard a knock at the door, “yes" she said in a low voice. Gabriel walked in and he leaned over the sofa, “hi! How you feeling?” he questioned “still in pain" she replied while staring at the TV.
“This should help” Gabriel placed a box full of chocolates next to her. Nathalie sat up a little and she ate 2 chocolates, before closing the box and lying back down in the sofa.
Gabriel sat by Nathalie and he kept her company. After a while, they heard another knock on the door and they both knew who it was, “come in, Adrien” Gabriel said as loud as he could.
Adrien pushed the door open and once he saw Nathalie lying down on the sofa next to Gabriel, he quickly ran towards her, “Nathalie are you ok? Is your stomach flu hurting? Is there anything I can do to help?” Adrien started to panic “I’m alright, my stomach flu is really hurting and you can help by being quiet" she answered his questions one by one.
Gabriel and Adrien stayed by Nathalie, until she fell asleep on the sofa and they left her room, leaving her to rest in peace.
