Miraculous: One Shots

Marinette's triplet C-section

It was a beautiful, summery day in Paris, Adrien woke up at nine o'clock, yawning and stretching his arms in the air, before resting back into the soft covers.

The blonde teenager turned his head, staring at his, now 39 weeks pregnant girlfriend. He started to feel a rush of excitement run through his veins as he would be meeting his triplets today, but he was also scared about the immense pain his lover would have to go through, just to bring their three kids into the world.

The young model slowly got out from under the duvet, so as to not wake his pregnant girlfriend up as she needed all the rest she could get. He tenderly pecked her cheek, before getting ready and heading downstairs to join his parents and little sister for breakfast.

While the four Agreste's were eating breakfast, Nathalie started questioning her son:

"How are you, Marinette and the triples? How are you feeling about the arrival of your kids later on?".

"Me, Marinette and the triplets are all doing fine! Ummm, I feel really excited to meet them, but I also feel bad that Marinette has to go through all that pain!", Adrien expressed his emotions that were so deeply buried inside of him, "I know how you feel, son! I was the same when Nathalie had to have a C-section with Sofia, but you have to stay strong for Marinette and be her support during the surgery!", Gabriel rubbed his son shoulder as he comfortingly spoke to him.

After breakfast, Nathalie went up to the teenage couples shared bedroom. She quietly opened the door a little bit and peaked inside, seeing the bluenette girl wide awake in bed, reading a book.

She pushed the door open a bit more and the half Chinese girl notice her presence, "it's ok, you can come in! You're not disturbing anything!", she spoke calmly, placing her book on her bedside table.

The dark-haired woman was now sitting on the side of the double bed, having a lovely conversation with the pregnant girl, sharing her experience of having a C-section, as she was due for one herself, later today.

Gabriel, Nathalie and Sofia were now waiting in the waiting room, excited for the babies to be brought into the world, while Adrien went into the operating room with Marinette for moral support.

The half Chinese girl was getting dressed into the hospital gown, that the midwife had handed her, before lying down on the hospital bed with her boyfriend sitting right next to her, messaging her forearm with his left hand, while running his fingers through her hair with his other hand, trying to keep his lover calm, before it was time for the triplets to be born.

The midwife gave the bluenette girl an epidural anaesthetic, to numb the lower part of her body, while she remained wide awake and because of this, her partner was allowed to stay with her.

An hour later, the surgeon then arrived and she placed a screen across Marinette's tummy, so she and her significant other can't see the operation being done.

The surgeon then made a 10 to 20cm horizontal cut in the half Chinese girls' tummy, just below her bikini line.

She then delivered the bluenette girls' triplets through her opening, and it caused her to feel some tugging.

The midwife placed all three triplets into their separate cots, while the surgeon gave Marinette a hormone oxytocin injection, to encourage her womb to contract and reduce blood loss, before closing the half Chinese girls belly up with dissolvable stitches.

Once the bluenette girl had heard the surgeon say that she could sit up, she did so, seeing her three babies in their cribs, two boys looked exactly like her and the girl looked exactly like her boyfriend, which made her cry tears of joy to finally be a mum at last.

"Welcome to the world Louis, Emma and Hugo!", the new parents both said in unison, before holding their children in their arms.

Once Adrien had helped his girlfriend breastfeed all three babies and their examinations were all done, they allowed Gabriel, Nathalie and Sofia to enter the room.

"Awww! There so...... ewww!", Adrien's mum stopped midsentence when Hugo squirted his pee at her face, "here you go, honey!", the designer handed her a towel to wipe her face with, before she gave him a peck on the cheek and rested her head on his shoulder, wrapping one of her arms around her hubby's waist and he did the same.

The married parents helped the new parents with getting their triplets into diapers and cute sleeps suits. A few minutes later, the bluenette girl was given painkillers to help relieve any discomfort that she might be feeling, along with food and water to keep her energy levels up.

"Well, all we need know is a few more siblings for Adrien and Sofia, even though their teenagers know, I miss the days when they would run around the house being goofy!", Gabriel shed a tear, remembering those days when his kids were young, "those siblings might come sooner then you think, darling!", Nathalie looked down at her hand that was placed on top of her abdomen and her hubby instantly put his hand on top of hers, before pushing her into the sofa and giving her a passionate kiss on the lips.
