Nathalie was just getting some things for her boss, fashion designer Gabriel Agreste, at a local drugstore, following the list, he had given her thoroughly, when she bumped into a very young women, who was holding a newborn baby tight to her chest. A maybe one and a half year old girl with messy blonde hair, a dirty face and a snotty nose clang to her hand, while she tried to pack some things into a large bag.

Pulling her children with her, while making furious steps through the Isles, she was rambling over the increasing prices for diapers and baby food.

"I am sorry, I didn't see you there!" Nathalie exclaimed, when the young mother hit her chest. The assistant was a tall woman and usually was rather intimidating to strangers. But this girl, she seemed to be younger than twenty, just stared at her and instead of being flustered or apologising too, she simply started to cry.

Nathalie stood there thunderstruck, not knowing what to do. Then she inhaled deeply and laid an arm around the teenagers shoulder, cooing:

"Hey, I'm sure, whatever is going on, will turn out for the better soon. What's your name?"

"Camille!", the young mother said under sobs.

"Well, Camille, I am...."

"Nathalie Sancoeur, the assistant of Gabriel Agreste! Or as I've heard, maybe a little more?". The girl interrupted her, the last accusation making her gasp.

"S-sorry, I didn't mean to.... I", she blushed and sobbed even harder than before.

"Don't worry, I know, people are telling lies like that about me and Mr Agreste. But what about you? Maybe I can help you a little?", Nathalie offered.

The young women shook her head.

"I don't think you can! Except if you were willing to swap your life with mine, there wasn't a lot you could do! But I'm pretty sure, you wouldn't want to be a mother of a sixteen months old and a newborn girl, right? At least not at barely nineteen years yourself", she sniffled and tried to reach into her pocket for a tissue, then looked at the women on front of her, asking:

"Can you hold her for a moment?"

At the very same time, she placed the newborn in the women's arms and she let go of the toddler, to pull a paper towel out if her pocket. Blowing her nose, then wiping her tears away, they could suddenly hear someone yelling and the girl paled immediately.

"Crap!", she hissed, looking frantically from Nathalie to her children and her large shopping bag, then something inside her seemed to break and she whispered:

"Sorry!"

Then she dropped the bag and just ran, leaving the women behind with two very young children.

"What? Hey, come back, nothing is going to happen to you!", she yelled after the young mother.

"That's what you said!", The owner of the drugstore yelled at her now, "I am sick of her, stealing stuff for her children from me. Shouldn't have gotten knocked up twice that early, if she can't provide for even one child!"

Nathalie though, used to being yelled at, when Gabriel was in a bad mood, stiffened her demeanour and kept all her emotions contained, while she was still holding the baby to her chest, like a package she just received.

"I didn't see the young women steal anything, sir. She had not left your store yet, right? So everything that's in her bag could have been paid for, as soon as she reached the cashier, right?"
