It was another boring day of school for Sofia and while we were all sitting on the carpet, Mrs Jones was explaining the work we had to do.
"Sofia! Do you know the answer to this!", the teacher point with her finger, but she couldn't see from where she was sat.
Sofia got up and walked closer to the smart board, being able to give the answer.
"Sofia! Do you need glasses?", Mrs Jones inquired, but she just shook her head in response.
Once it was home time, Sofia's teacher handed her a letter, telling her to give it to her parent's.
Once Gabriel and Nathalie had picked up Sofia and Adrien from school, they drove back to the mansion.
While the married parents were cooking pasta for dinner, Sofia gave them a letter, saying that it was from her teacher.
While the blonde man continued cooking the pasta, the dark-haired woman sat on a bar stool in the kitchen, opening up the envelope and reading the letter Mrs Jones had written.
Dear Mrs and Mr Agreste,
It has come to my attention, that Sofia has been struggling with reading the board from long distances.
Please book your daughter an eye check immediately. It is vital that every pupil with a disadvantage in our school, gets the help that they need.
Yours faithfully,
Mrs Jones
"Wow! I had no idea that Sofia was struggling to see the board from far away! Do you think she could be short sighted, just like me?", Nathalie questioned her husband, while so many thoughts were running inside her head.
"Well! She is a copy and pasted version of you, so I wouldn't be surprised if she gets diagnosed with short eye sight. But even if she is short sighted, it won't change the lovely girl we've created through love!", Gabriel smiled, passionately kissing his wife on the lips, to help calm her worries.
Once the raven-haired woman had phoned the opticians, asking if they could check Sofia's eyes, after she had her yearly eye check done, to which they agreed.
While everyone was eating dinner, Nathalie said:
"Sofia! Have you been struggling to see the board from far away?", her mother softly address the question, and her daughter just nodded a yes in response.
"Tomorrow me and you are going to the opticians, because I've got to have my yearly eye check done as well!", her mum informed her.
After dinner, Sofia, Adrien and the married parents had a relaxing bath, before getting ready for bed.
The next day
Nathalie and Gabriel were cooking waffles with croissants for breakfasts, while their children were getting ready.
Once everyone had finished eating breakfast, the blonde man drove his son to school, while the dark-haired woman drove her daughter to the opticians.
They waited in the waiting room, until they were called to be seen.
They followed the optometrist into her room. Nathalie sat on the big chair and her daughter sat on the small chair next to her.
"How are your eyes feeling today? And have you been struggling with anything?", Jade the optician questioned.
"My eyes are feeling really good! And no, I haven't been struggling with anything!", the dark-haired woman replied.
Jade asked Nathalie to read the eye chart. As she read down the eye chart, she started struggling to see the tiny fonts at the bottom.
Once that was done, the optometrist turned the lights off and she shined a light to get a good look at the back of her eyes, while she rested her chin on this huge machine.
Once Jade had finished looking at the back of Nathalie's eyes, she said:
"Your still short sighted! But nothing has deteriorated!", the female optician gave her a small smile.
The dark-haired woman and her daughter switched seats.
"Hello! Wow, you look just like your mother!", Jade said cheerfully, "How are your eyes feeling today? And have you been struggling with anything?", the optician questioned.
"My eyes are feeling alright! And yes, I have been struggling to see the board from far away!", the little girl replied.
Jade asked Sofia to read the eye chart. As she read down the eye chart, she started struggling to see the tiny fonts at the bottom.
Once that was done, the optometrist turned the lights off and she shined a light to get a good look at the back of her eyes, while she rested her chin on this huge machine.
Once Jade had finished looking at the back of Sofia's eyes, she said:
"Your short sighted! Just like your mother, so you're going to need glasses!", the female optician smiled.
Nathalie and Sofia went to the waiting room to pick out a pair of glasses, she chose a black pair, liking how they suited her in the mirror.
Once the two Agreste women had arrived back from the opticians, Gabriel and Adrien were absolutely stunned, not knowing whether it was Sofia or a stranger.
"I'm guessing she's short sighted just like you!", her hubby concluded, giving his wifey a hug and a passionate kiss on the lips, causing Adrien and Sofia to make an urghhh sound.
When the married parents parted from the kiss, they softly smiled at each other from the disgusting remarks their children made.
Gabriel then attacked Nathalie's lips, feeling her instantly reciprocate as they deepened the kiss.
After a while, Adrien and Sofia were colouring together and playing video games, while their parents were cooking tortilla wraps for dinner.
When it was dinner time, everyone sat around the dining room table, digging into their scrumptious wraps.
After dinner, everyone watched a movie called puss in boots the last wish, while eating popcorn.
Once the movie had finished, their parents gave Adrien a goodnight kiss on the forehead, before tucking Sofia under her covers and giving her a goodnight kiss on the forehead as well.
Now that their kids were asleep, Gabriel and Nathalie took all their clothes off and they hoped into the warm bath.
They enjoyed the warm, pleasant water that surrounded their bodies, while they cuddled in the bathtub.
Once they had gotten out of the bath, they dried themselves off and fixed their hair, before nakedly cuddling in bed, letting sleep overtake them.
