Writer looked unto the Fallen Sankta, darkened halo with pitch black wings and a Sarkaz's horns as well as a tail for good measure. Not the most comforting presence she admits one would have, but she's known worst company.
Inside the swirling dome no sound can arrive and come out. The view obscured so that no one can see in and those inside clueless to what happens outside.
Its just them now.
"How?", the little Angel whispered while clinging onto her.
"You know better than that to ask me such an easy question."
Before Mostima could react she felt a major sting at the top of her head. She rubs her head to soothe the ache while she withers under Writer's gaze.
"And you know better than to treat yourself that way, we were worried sick. Nearly died of a heartattack we did. Thankfully, my dear had connections."
Mostima's throat got stuck when she heard her words. They always knew and then she realizes an inconsistency.
"Why didn't you bring me back?"
"Would you let yourself to?", she challenged.
The wandering messenger couldn't refute her words. Surprise then came evident when Writer giggled like a school girl.
"Now why don't we drop somber memories, he's here isn't he."
Mostima slowly needed while trying to keep a maintained smile. What she got was a smug grin in return.
"Now I did say I wanted someone that would care for him, never knew a situation where his reincarnated feline would be so smitten with him. Ah the joys of young love and new life."
All the Sankta felt was embarrasment and fear as Writer laughed louder than a fog horn. Mostima then felt lighter as she hears the familiar laughter, its as if the sound itself could part a storm.
"If you think I wouldn't accept you as a future daughter-in-law you'd be insulting
me outright.", the cheshire grin paired with the increased blush of the Keeper of Lock and Key was itself a sight to behold.
Writer enveloped the Sankta in another bear restraining hug, the air in her lungs leaving her body in an instant.
"He already cared about all of you. Little reader returning your feelings is up to him. I already accepted you as part of our little family, it would be a bit exciting if you added more in the future."
The idea made Mostima's heart beat faster than any combat scenario or heated discussion she ever had. Although her worries were still present.
"Why did you forgive me so easily?", Mostima's head lowered and her eyes downcast.
"Now come on dearie, I can't talk to someone with their head down now can I?"
Surprise evident in the Fallen Sankta's eyes as she felt her chin being raised by the empath.
"You aren't asking for my forgiveness dearie, you're asking it for yourself. And if you ask me you have done plenty enough to deserve it."
A hollow part in Angel's heart was lifted.
All that remained.
Relief.
