Sitting at their lunch table , Jennie smiled as she watched her best friend of five years. For the past twenty minutes jisoo's attention was hooked on their fellow co worker Park Chaeyoung, a tall blonde half way across the cafeteria with the face of an angel and the voice of a singer. At least that is how Jisoo always described her.

"Oh just go over there and talk to her already." Jennie rolled her eyes. Despite being one the most beautiful and talented people in the office, Jisoo still found herself lost for words when given the chance to talk to Chaeyoung.

Jisoo shock her head and turned back to her best friend. "And say what? Nothing I say will ever be worthy of her. I mean look at her" jisoo indicated to Chaeyoung as she laughed freely with her friend. "The way her hair flows down her nice lean shoulders. Or the way the room lights up every time she smiles. Or the way her body gracefully moves. Damn she really is beautiful."

"And she is single. According to rumors. Which is why you need to make a move, someone else might beat you to it." Jennie's soft loving tone tried to be as supportive. Gazing at Chaeyoung, Jennie could tell she really was the perfect match for jisoo, if only she could work up the courage to speak to her. Both women were kind, they both loved animals and both would do anything for the people they cared about. Jennie's heart swelled at the thought of her best friend finally finding someone who makes her happy.

Jisoo's head spun around, "What? Who? What have you heard? Give me names woman. " She demanded the information as if she was interrogating a criminal.

Jennie laughed at her reaction. So much for playing it cool. "I have not heard anything…yet. I was just saying maybe you should make a move before someone else does. Chaeyoung is an amazing person after all."
Jisoo seemed terrified at the thought of someone else even speaking to chaeyoung. After some time she responded, "If I make an idiot of myself. Or what if I ask her out and she says no. Why do I need to ask her out anyway? Why can't she ask me out. Maybe she really doesn't like me. Maybe she doesn’t even know I exist. Oh dear, I am going to die alone. Everyone else is going to get someone, get married, have ten children and leave me behind. Jennie please don't forget me when you have a husband and ten children." Jisoo threw her hands around Jennie and released her dramatic fake tears.

Jennie rolled her eyes and held on to Jisoo by her shoulders in an attempt to keep her still. "My dear best friend, I promise you I will not be having ten children. My husband will be lucky if he even gets one child from me."

"You know I never know what the problem is. You have so many nice guys lining up to date you and yet you are, with me, every Friday night, week after week. Month after month, year after year. You really need to start dating again." Jisoo went back to normal as she took a big gulp of her milk.

"I get the point Jisoo,” Jennie rolled her eyes. After hearing the speech from her mom once a week, the last thing she wanted was to hear it from her own best friend. “And you need to stop changing the subject. Are you ever going to ever talk to her. Or will you spend the rest of your life staring at her like some creepy co worker?" Jennie questioned.

Jisoo crossed her arms and looked indifferent. "I am not creepy. I am admiring from afar. There is nothing wrong with that."

Jennie was about to further argue her case when her when a loud ringing came from Jisoo's phone. Jennie waited for what she knew was the end of time together. It was always the same. Jisoo's boss expected her to work harder than anyone else with less free time than the res,. atleast this time she called after she friend finished her meal.

As expected, Jisoo ended the call with a panicked look. "I'm sorry, but...."

Before she could finish the end of the sentence, Jennie finished it for her. "You have to get back to work. Your lovely boss needs you to do something only you and your awesome skills could do, am I right?"
