I THREW on my black oversized leather on top of my purple crop top and wide grey, ripped jeans with silver jewelry.

"I'm gonna go find Jane to see if she needs help the the decorations!" I informed Evie while Mal was changing in the bathroom.

"OK, see you later, Ce." She smiled while packing books into her bag.

"Bye, M," I said and she hummed through the separating door. I opened the door, closing it behind me. I strolled through the halls, finding Fairy Godmother's daughter at her locker.

"Hey, Jane." I grinned, leaning on the lockers beside me.

"Hi, ugh, I am swamped with Cotillion!" She groaned, closing the metal door.

"Well, what do you need to do? I can help if I can." I reassured her.

"Um..." Jane pulled her tablet out, showing me a checklist - a very long one.

"Wow," I exclaimed, reading it.

"I still need Ben's choice on what colour of green for Mal's eye for the stained glass window. I need Mal's opinion for a few decorations. I have to...and....oh, and..." She named countless amount of things.

"I can ask Ben which colour of green, do you have samples?" I asked, and she nodded, getting out three colours of glass. "All right, I'll ask when I see him."

"We should go find the others, they're most likely on the other side," Jane advised and I agreed.

We found the other VKs, approaching them when Carlos greeted me with the others beside us. "Hey, Cerise."

"Hey." I smiled, fixing the strap of my bag on my shoulder.

"I was wondering... Uh... what... um, class we have first?" He stuttered which confused me because lately he's been doing that around me and I had no idea why.

"I have a different schedule." I chuckled, moving a piece of hair out of my face.

"Oh, yeah. Uh, uh..." He looked down at the floor and Jay placed his hand on his shoulder, pulling him away and whispering something. By now Lonnie had joined.

"I have a fitting at three. Who wants it?" Evie asked.

"Me! Sorry." Lon apologized to Jane.

"Perfect. I'll take you later." E reassured Fairy Godmother's daughter and we three walked off to the side because Jane still had questions for Mal. Also, I did my dress fitting last night.

"So how much money are you making from the dresses?" Mulan's daughter asked curiously.

"Maybe... 150 each?" She shrugged, thinking about an average price.

"For like four hundred girls that's like..." I did the math in my head quickly. "Sixty thousand dollars."

"God, you could buy your own starter castle!" Lonnie gasped with surprise.

"That's what I said!" I laughed, running a hand through my hair before we went back to the two girls.

"I can hardly wait to see what your wedding will look like!" Lon squealed, hand over Jane's shoulder.

"Me, too..." She agreed before realizing it. "Wait, what!?"

"The Royal Cotillion is like getting engaged to be engaged to be engaged." The brunette explained.

"I knew it!" E exclaimed excitedly.

"Well, everyone knows it." I rolled my eyes with a laugh.

"I didn't know it. How come nobody told me that? Is my entire life just planned out in front of me?" She questioned very fast when Ben came up behind her.

"Hi, Mal."

"Hi, Ben~" We greeted in a sing-song voice.

"Oh, uh, one second." I pulled the prince to the side.

"Uh, yeah." He hummed.

"I'm helping Jane with her To-do list, and she wanted me to ask you something about the eyes of the surprise for Mal's big night, the stained glass piece," I explained, pulling the samples out of my bag.

"Yeah, make sure her eyes are green. Uh..." He turned around to M. "See you later."

"Okay."

"Which green?" I held them up as he flipped through them, pausing for a second.

"This one."

─── ⊹⊱ LUNCH BREAK ⊰⊹ ───

It was lunch break, and I was in the Amphitheatre watching the fencing team practice from the second floor while answering emails on my phone.

"Carlos, you're with me. Let's go!" My brother instructed as the fencing captain and everyone got into position. "Assemble! Salute! Lower the point. Masks down. En garde."

I watched as they did flips and battled each other easily and swiftly. Suddenly a new person had jumped in. He battled Jay, eventually taking his sword but giving it back. J twirled his blade over his shoulder. He pulled his helmet off, revealing Lonnie. The present cheerleaders shouted and cheered for her.

"Not bad," Jay smirked,

"You should put me on the team." She suggested, and he stepped closer with a nod, considering it.

"Hey... What?" Chad interrupted. "No, no, no. We'll be the laughingstock of the league. And what's gonna happen next? We'll have girls playing tourney? Come on, guys."

I rolled my eyes with a sigh, watching the scene unfold before my eyes. "So?" My brother scoffed, not seeing an issue like the rest of us.

"So?' Eh, so have you read the rule book? Section 2, Paragraph 3, 11 dash 4. 'A team will be comprised of a captain and eight men.' Hmm? You should read the rule book." Charming pulled the rule book out of his back pocket.

"Okay, yeah, but you're down a man. You know, since Ben had to leave to do all that king stuff." Lonnie added.

"Exactly. We're down a man." He repeated.

"Jay." She sighed with pleading eyes.

"I'm sorry. Coach trust me. I'm not gonna stay captain if I just throw out the rule book." Jay apologized selfishly.

"If my mother thought that way, she would've lost the war." Lon commented

"Pff! Okay?" Charming shrugged her words off his shoulders, being the spoiled boy he was. While she turned around and walked off, he wiggled the book behind her back. "Rule book, rule book."

"Alright, guys, practice is over let's go." Jay dismissed his team.
