The next morning was just like yesterday, the students wake up to return to some more harsh training. But hey, now (Y/N) can almost walk on water on her alternate sprint mode!.... But she still has a problem with the training robot.
Let's check on how the others are going with their training.
Kokomi is trying her best to deal as much damage as she can to the training dummies using her jellyfish 'Curse negative crit..' she thought in annoyance. Aether and Lumine are practicing their elemental skills but they seem to keep hurting themself of accident because they were training near Xingqiu who keeps triggering the Dendro core reactions.
Sara is teleporting here and there to improve her speed at dodging, Sayu is just rolling around and she looks like she's about to throw up... But if we're talking about the hardest training of them all.. It's gotta be Bennett's training. He has to walk around fake land mines so he could control his bad luck! Sure the landmine can't kill him but it still hurts!.
[TIMESKIP]
It was 30 minutes before the test of courage starts. (Y/N) looked outside the window to see that it has gotten really dark "Eeee! I'm excited for the test of courage!" Hagakure exclaimed "Really? I'm kind of scared.." Yaoyorozu nervously laughed "What about you, (Y/N)?" Tsuyu turned her head to (Y/N) who was texting "Oh me? I'm not really scared of the pranks that class B might pull. But I'm scared of class C's pranks..." she explained.
"Huh? Why?" Uraraka said "Ohhh.. You don't know what kind of ghost pranks Hu Tao can pull from under her sleeves. Usually it's a silly ghost, but at times like this... She'll take the prank VERY seriously so uh... Let's hope I don't get a heart attack." she nervously laughed.
Everyone was told to gather on the training grounds but sadly, those who fail the finals can't join cause they have extra lessons "Alright! Let's get on with the rules! First, class C will be the scarers! you'll be paired up with someone to go around the forest and grab a nameplate, bring that back! The scarers cannot interact with the other class directly, show us how scary you can be with your quirks!" Pixie Bob explained.
Right as (Y/N) heard this, she gets chills and slowly turned her head to Hu Tao who's doing an evil handshake. The classes drew lots and you guessed it! (Y/N) is once again paired up with Ganyu! "(Y/N), I'm scareddd!" Ganyu hugged (Y/N) before taking a step into the forest "We should be.. It's Hu Tao we're talking about." (Y/N) gulped.
'Wait, there will be an extra student who doesn't have a partner, right? Who got that?' (Y/N) turned around to see Deku frozen in spot with a nervous look on his face "You got the bad luck..? Well- uh- goodluck!" (Y/N) nervously put a thumbs up "Y-yeah... You too" Deku mumbled.
20 minutes passed and it was (Y/N) and Ganyu's turn to go around the forest "Goodluck electric and ice girl~!" Mandalay exclaimed "K-keep on the lookout for our name tags... The faster we find them, the faster we'll go around the forest" (Y/N) said, still being close to Ganyu.
A noise was heard from the bushes and Ganyu immediately hid behind (Y/N) "Are you serious?!" (Y/N) whispered "You check it!" Ganyu said. (Y/N) tilted her head to see what was in the bush and then a bunch of black birds suddenly flew out "WAAAAAAAAHHHH!" they both screamed and ran away.
To be honest, if you think about it, it's not really scary but because of the sudden loud noise, they both ran "Sara, you're really good at this!" Bennett, who was hiding behind a tree said "It's nothing impressive, really. All I did was just summon a bunch of birds" Sara explained "But you have to agree, their reaction was funny!" Thoma smiled "Yeah! Did you see the previous group that went before them?! One of them tripped, hah!" Bennett laughed.
"Am I the only one who smells something burning?"
"Now that you mention it... Yeah"
Sara's eyes widen and immediately covered Bennett and Thoma's mouth "Don't breathe! It's poisonous!" she exclaimed but it was too late. Bennett passed away, Sara picked up the unlucky boy while still holding her breath "I'm positive this isn't part of the game! We have to tell the teachers..!" Thoma said before running as Sara followed behind him, carrying the unconscious Bennett.
