'It can't...be...'

'Don't-'

'It's just a dream, not a sign, it's just a dream, just a dream Just. a. Dream! Pull yourself together Citlali! You are the most powerful shaman from your tribe! What Makoto said earlier about the plan incase things go south will NOT happen! We could rely on Natlan's heroes, the Twilight  sword, everyone, the Archons, vision bearers, that darn Shigaraki won't win...! Never, never, never, never- the 500 year plan WILL work-'

"Citlali."

The pink haired woman snapped her head towards the voice. There stood Makoto, in the middle of the empty hallway where Citlali has been walking back on forth was.

"If you're going to mention THAT plan to me once more- I will-"

"Just listen to me first."

"..."

--------------------------------------

"That dream you've been having... It's a vision, right? With you being a shaman of the Masters of The Night Wind, it's bound to happen isn't it?"

"How'd you find out? Did you get the Archon of dreams to enter my mind?"

The atmosphere was quiet, confirming Citlali's suspicion of Makoto regarding Nahida who entered Citlali's dream. The Natlanese let out a tired sigh.

"I... can't accept it you know. The idea of that plan coming into action and the result of it.. I thought-- no, I believed in Vanessa's and Dainsleif's plan so much to the point if something as terrible as the war between the people of Teyvat and Earth were to happen again- It'd all be under control... But- lately every time I close my eyes to sleep, all I see is my students on the ground, lifeless! A white haired man causing a huge destruction! The Twilight sword herself backing up from the fight! And you-"

Citlali held her words. The usually short tempered shaman was now on the verge of tears, while Makoto just stood beside her, with a soft look on her face.

"I'll be a fallen warrior, won't I?"

"That- that's not what I said!"

"It's okay, I've accepted the fact that I'm nowhere near close to my sister's skill in combat, especially in a situation like war."

Citlali's breath hitched, still not wanting to accept the vision she received in her dream.

"You might be able to accept that but I CAN'T! I do not want to live through a situation where you and the Natlanese students fall in battle! Once all of that happens, the Archons will use the plan that you suggested 500 years ago and if that happens they'll-"

The pink haired woman couldn't finish her sentence. Makoto didn't dare to utter a word as that'll rile up Citlali's emotion more. So she chose her words carefully this time.

"...Citlali, was that all what you saw in your dream?"

"...There was also... a bright glowing light, one that resembles Nightsoul blessing, a protest against the Teyvatians, exorcists, and... That's all I can remember. I don't know in what order those events will happen... I thought being a shaman means I could see the future and prevent terrible things from happening, but here I am, with a dead end."

"You mentioned the Nightsoul blessing? I thought that blessing stopped existing ever since the clash between Earth and Teyvat... Are you saying Teyvat's original powers are coming back?"

"I don't know anymore... Many things disappeared ever since our planets connected. The Sacred Flame, Saurians, Inazuma's Sacred Sakura Tree, direct access to the Border of Life, the Wayob themselves and many more. The only thing the Wayob left us was the plan of the Natlan heroes."
