Chapter 7: Cavalry Battle

"DEKU! (Y/N)! I'M SO PROUD OF YOU GUYS!!" Uraraka exclaimed while hugging (Y/N) and Deku and Iida is just in the background, sad cause he didn't get 1st place

"The 42 made it to the next round huh? It's unfortunate but, don't worry if you didn't make it! We've prepared other chances for you to shine... The next game will be... Cavalry battle!" Midnight shouted "Cavalry battle?"  "I'm bad at this!"   "I'm scared."  the students said "Now let me explain. The participants can form teams of two to four people as they wish, it's basically the same as a regular cavalry battle. But the thing that's different is... Based on the results of the last game, each person has been assigned a point value" Midnight explained "So the teams will know which team is worth attacking huh?" Uraraka said "I see! This will be very useful!" Mina smiled

"ARE YOU EXPLAINING, OR AM I?!" Midnight shouted (Yes, I did just kind of put we don't talk about Bruno lyrics-)

"*Sigh* Anyways, correct, each students get different points based on what place they got from the last game. And the person who's in first place has... TEN MILLION POINTS!" Midnight continued 'T-ten million?!' Deku panicked as all the students stare at him 'He's the first target.' all of them thought "Now then, I'll explain the rules of the cavalry battle! The time limit is fifteen minutes, each team is worth the total of it's members points. And the riders will wear a headband with that number on their foreheads. Teams will try and get each other's head band till time runs out, stolen headbands must be worn on the neck! You have fifteen minutes to make a team!"

All the students went around the stadium, trying to find the right person to be their teammates, most of the students wanted to be teams with Bakugo since he has one of the most powerful quirk "....Wait what are your quirks and names again?!" Bakugo said "Seriously?! You don't even remember your classmates name?!" Mina exclaimed

At first, (Y/N) didn't want to team up with Deku cause if she is always helping him, she'll get left behind. But she tried asking her Teyvat friends and they declined, saying that they already have a team, so she ended up teaming with Deku and Uraraka. She wasn't complaining about it though "We can add another person into our team... Who do you think would be perfect for it?" Uraraka questioned "Hm... Maybe Iida?"

"Sorry but I refuse" Iida said "Huh? But why?" Deku tilted his head "You're a great friend Midoriya, but if I keep following you, I'll never develop. Todoroki already placed me in his team" Iida explained "Then... Who will we choose?" (Y/N) sighed as a familiar pink haired girl walked closer to the group "TEAM UP WITH ME PERSON NUMBER 1 AND 2!" she shouted "Hatsume! It's you again!" (Y/N) smiled.

"Huh? You know her, (Y/N)?" Deku questioned "Yup! She's the one that broke my friend's gadget-"    "I told you... We don't talk about that." Hatsume covered (Y/N)'s mouth "Anyways, I'm Mei Hatsume! From the support course!" Hatsume introduced herself "Oh, you're the weird person from last game!" Uraraka exclaimed "I don't really know who you guys are, but let me team with you! if I team with you, everyone will watch our team! And when they pay attention to the team, big companies can see how good I am at making gadgets!" Hatsume smiled

'She's so honest...' the three sweat dropped, they agreed on Hatsume's request and the cavalry battle has officially started! "Fifteen minutes is over! Now let us watch the bloody battle!" Present mic shouted 'Isn't 'bloody battle' too much?' (Y/N) sweat dropped. Deku is the one sitting so the others have to carry him "START!" Midnight shouted as all the students started aiming for Deku's team "It's a battle for the ten million points!"  "That ten million points is mine!" students started to say

"Deku, what should we do?!" (Y/N) shouted "We'll just run away for the whole game!" Deku said "Not so close!" a student from class 1-B used his quirk and made the ground sink "Everyone! Close your eye, you don't want to get dust don't you?" Deku exclaimed as he used the jetpack made by Hatsume "They're flying away"  Yanfei pointed "What do you think about my amazing babies?!" Hatsume smiled "They're great! You're a great inventor Hatsume!"
