Chapter 30: Start of it All

Today was just like any other day at UA.

'Oh yeah, I have to meet up with Ei and Makoto today..'

The electro user got distracted from her lazy thoughts and a robot's arm swung right at her face.(Y/N) was thrown across the field and stood up angrily. Currently, class 1-A are practicing teamwork and like always, she was paired up with Ganyu. Well, mostly because they're interns of the same agency "I'm not in the mood for you!" (Y/N) pointed her finger at the green robot, unintentionally creating a huge star shaped portal that blasted the robot with electro.

Having destroyed the robot on accident, (Y/N) took a step back in confusion. She never learned how to do that, it just came out of nowhere "(Y/N), how did you do that?" Ganyu approached, still holding her bow "I don't know." (Y/N)'s tone came off as harsh but in reality, she was just extremely confused. Ganyu was caught off guard by her tone, so the blue haired girl took one step back 'Maybe something happened... I should give her some space'

Once (Y/N) and Ganyu approached All Might to check how they did during the practice. All Might asked the same question to which (Y/N) just answered the same thing she did to Ganyu "(Y/N), did your quirk get a little upgrade like Midoriya did?" Hagakure walked up to (Y/N) and smiled, although (Y/N) couldn't see her face at all.

(Y/N) then let out a frustrated sigh "I'm not sure. maybe? I don't know. These days my quirk had started doing strange things." the electro user ruffled her hair "You didn't take drugs did you?" Jirou said out of the blue "I- OF COURSE NOT!" (Y/N) exclaimed while pointing at the earphone jack girl. In truth, Jirou just said that to lighten the mood up, and somehow it worked "Hey, just a thought." Jirou shrugged.

Ever since that combat training with class B, C and Lucine students, (Y/N)'s quirk had somehow started malfunctioning. More specifically, her electro vision. If it were her quirk then she'd have speed problems because all her quirk does is just make her movements fast and allow her to become electro particles in her alternate sprint. (Y/N) heavily relies on her electro vision when it comes to combat and if her vision was actually malfunctioning...

'This is a huge problem.'

Not to mention;

'Descendant of the Twilight Sword..'

The mysterious voices that has been repeating the same thing whenever (Y/N) creates an electro gun.

(Y/N) has been having problems with creating an electro gun lately so in these past 3 days, all she could create was a small knife and a sword. The voices seem to stop when she uses the sword though.

"I'm gonna go change first."

(Y/N) walked pass her friends towards the girls locker room. The other girls stared at her in concern and once she was out of earshot, all of their heads snapped towards Ganyu "What happened to her? Something wrong?" Tsuyu was the first to ask questions. Ganyu herself was having a hard time to answer because one, she doesn't know exactly what's bothering (Y/N) and two, she's being bombarded by questions.

"Did she have a fight with someone?"

"Was she dumped?"

"That- I'm not sure-"

"Was she rejected!?"

"Did something sad happened again at that Honkai game she usually plays?"

"Someone destroyed her Minecraft cat cafe!?"
