Amelia's Pov

Breathe in, breathe out. Breathe in, breathe out. I repeat this mantra again and again as my body swims in the ocean.

"Are you okay?" Liam asks with a concerned voice, I just nod without looking at him.

My body was aching from the swimming, and my legs feel like jelly but luckily, I know swimming. Even though, I am scared of oceans and have never swam in one. Since my brother,  Stefan likes swimming he always used to give me tips about it and I well, sometimes I used to swim with him.

I look forward and smile when I saw the little island coming near.

"Almost there" Liam says. I frown, am I the only one who thinks that his voice seems...different? I shook my head and ignore it. Maybe I am overthinking.

My feet finally touch the soft sand. I hiss in pain when small stones press against my feet. Ignoring the pain, I walk towards the shore and sigh.

Finally, everything is over...for now. Liam looks behind me and purses his lips. I frown, what's wrong? Looking behind, I saw him...again.

There he was standing with his arms crossed, standing at the edge of his ship with a scowl on his face. Luckily, he was not looking at me. He was looking at Liam.

But I guess I was wrong because his eyes met mine and he smirks at me. I gasped. Fuck. He chuckled, knowing well How much effect he has on me.

Liam took my arm and my eyes widen due to the shock. I tripped over a small stone but regained myself again. Without looking back, We ran towards the forest on the unknown island.

A hundred thoughts were running through my head. A lot of questions are unanswered. Even though I know we are away from him, there was a voice in my head that told me this was not over, yet. I know something is coming up and I have to be prepared for it. Because no matter what, He will always find me as he did.

My thoughts were cut off when a beautiful waterfall come into our view. Liam loosens his grip and stops, making me stop too. I hiss in pain when I saw a red mark on my arm. I was too lost in my thoughts that I didn't notice how to hold Liam was holding me.

Rubbing it slowly, I looked at Liam who was looking forward at the waterfall. There was something in his eyes that told me something is wrong. I am not sure why, I just feel my stomach churn with anxiety.

Liam's behavior since we met at the ship's room...something has changed. I can't point out what, But I know something is wrong. Even though I know Liam would never hurt me or make me feel uncomfortable, there was something different in his Aura. In fact, I think his aura was completely different. Even his eyes were masked with something unknown.

There is a secret hidden and I am damn sure that it's not good. My heart starts beating crazily when an Idea comes to my mind.

"Liam?" I say, He was still looking ahead.

"Liam!" I shouted this time and he finally looked at me with a questioning face.

I grabbed his hand and pull him towards me. His eyes widen when I opened the top two buttons of his shirt and looked at his chest. A gasp leaves my mouth when my assumption turned to truth.

I cover my mouth to stop myself from screaming.

"Who tf are you?"
