Chapter 59

Author's Pov [TW] 

Long chapter ahead!

Ace was still looking at Amelia when Amelia says, "Why do you need it anyway?" Amelia questions. 

"Because I need it" A new voice comes. Everyone turns to look at Alex. There he stood with a smirk. He comes forward, and Amelia's body tenses at his presence when he comes closer to her. Amelia cranes her head up to look at him, making sure not to break eye contact. 

Alex brings his hand up and Amelia takes a step back out of reflex. Alex chuckles and caresses her cheeks, Amelia lets him as she tries to search for something in his eyes. 

"Do you know who I am?" Alex questions, his voice soft. 

"You're my kidnapper" She whispers. She was trying her best but something about his aura was screaming danger at the moment. 

"That I am, I love you my love but aside from that, I am the heir of the Spanish mafia." He says and everyone in the room stills. How could that....

Do you know the best thing? I am not the only son of the Spanish mafia" He says and Amelia stumbles back at the shock. Ace looks at Alex with wide eyes, his heart beating at an inhuman speed. How is that possible? 

Alex chuckles and leans at Amelia's scared figure, "Your best friend Liam, and your new friend Lucas, are twins and my little brothers" He says. Amelia gasps. 

"No...No you are-lyi-lying" Amelia stutters and shakes her head in denial. Alex laughs and Looks at Liam who was watching it silently. 

"Am I wrong, brother?" He questions mockingly, Amelia looks at Liam. Waiting for him to deny but her whole world crumbles when Liam nods. 

"Their mother was a whore, Amelia. She was married to my father. After the whole incident of war, she left him and me and disappeared. Then she married Michael King and gave birth to Max and the twins." Alex states. The look on Amelia's face was worth all the hard work he did. 

"You like The Kings so much huh? After the twins' birth, the very next day Michael got to know about his wife. He didn't accept the twins but Rose (the wife) begged him to accept the kids. Michael said that he will only take one kid so Rose gave Lucas to a shelter home, cutting him out of her life completely." Alex explains. 

Liam falls down with tears in his eyes. He met Clyde when Amelia was gone missing. Clyde brainwashed Liam into thinking that all of this was Amelia and her family's plan to bring his family down. But now that Alex has spilled everything, he completely broke down. 

"Enough of the drama now! Clyde, why are they not dead? Kill them" Alex commanded and the guards raise the gun again. 

BANG BANG BANG

Someone fires on the guards, killing almost half of them. Everyone starts searching for the person but finds nothing. The gun starts again and more bodyguards get down, leaving only a couple of guards on the floor. Alex takes his gun out and starts firing from above toward the second floor. Amelia quickly rushes to the nearest dead guard and takes one of the guns. 

She aims at Clyde and shoots him right in his chest. Clyde yells and places his hand on his chest and soon, his hand gets covered with blood. Amelia shoots at him again, shooting him right in his heart. Alex aims at Amelia and shoots at her arms. Amelia yells and the gun drops out of her hand. Liam shoots at Alex's chest but misses as he dodges. 

Alex shoots at Liam's stomach and Liam grunts. Amelia touches her arm and winces as tears start following down her cheeks. The mystery killer had now killed every guard.

Alex aims at Amelia when, "Not so fast, buddy" A cold voice says. They turn their attention to see Liam's brother Max standing there. He had a big gun in his hand and he was aiming it right at Alex's heart.

"Exactly" A female voice says and once again they all look to see Amelia's friend Mia standing there, pointing her gun at Max.

"Mia?" Amelia says with disbelief in her voice. Mia turns her attention to Amelia and looks at her with disguised.

"What? You took Liam from me." She says emphasizing every word. 

"But..You were-" Amelia was cut off by Mia's laugh. 

"It was all just a drama. I and Alex are cousins. We both have been keeping an eye on you all for ears. When we got to know that you both were coming to uni, we were delighted! It was not a coincidence, Amelia. We, friends, party. It was all planned just like your death is"

Without waiting any further, Alex pulls the gun and the bullet does right into Liam's heart, two times. Amelia yells his name and runs toward him. Max shoots Alex just like he shot his brother, right in his heart. Mia shoots Max but misses when he dodges. She again aims but Max was faster. He shoots two bullets in her chest and she falls down.

Max looks at his brother and runs toward him.
