Amelia's Pov
I stare at the old, rusty iron door in front of me. My eyes then go up, taking in the large warehouse in front of me. As expected it was exactly how I imagined it, grey and old. A building at the center of a large ground.
Though it is really strange that there seem to be no guards here, it is a little suspicious.
Someone clears their throat and I look beside me to see Lucas starting at the building just like me. Noticing my stare, he turns towards me. I immediately look down, guilt consuming me once again.
"Will you always do this?" A question comes from Lucas. I stiff at the question.
"What do you mean?" I question even though I know the answer already. Lucas gives me a look that says he knows that I know.
"After this, you both will have enough time to discuss it so let's not waste our time right now" Another voice says. I roll my eyes at this.
My eyes then wander around, looking at the men surrounding us. However, they were hidden from any other person but not for us. Like Lucas said yesterday, everything was set. The cars, snippets, guards, everything, and the big guns they had...oh god.
"Let's go" Ace says and takes my hand. I frown and look at our joined hands. I then turned my attention to Ace who was looking straight ahead with a determined face.
I don't know why but I have this feeling that this is not going to end up well, things might become nasty. Surprisingly, I am ready. I guess it's because I am not really scared now. I feel numb...I don't know why but I feel like I am the reason this is happening. I feel like this is all my fault.
Ace pulls me towards the door with Lucas hot on our tail. He pushes the door open and just like in movies, the door opens with a creek sound, making me shudder. We enter the old warehouse only to see it empty.
I thought there would be guards but just like outside, there were none. That's when I realize what's exactly going on. We are in a trap. They know we are coming.
I turn to Ace only to see him looking at me. I almost stop breathing at his intense stare. I opened my mouth to say something but was cut off by a shrill cry. I look at Ace, wide-eyed. Ace clenched his jaw and runs towards the voice.
I try to take a deep breath which comes out to be a shaky breath. Another cry comes, this time from my left side. I turned towards my left but there was no one. I move forward, ready to go there but another voice comes,
"Amelia!" Someone yells from the other side. The voice is similar...my brother, Ivan.
"IVAN!" I yell back but no one answers. I hear footsteps from behind, and I see Ace running towards me covered in sweat.
"Amelia" A whisper comes from the right side, we turn there but there is no one.
"They are trying to confuse us," Lucas says, his voice hard and cold. I look at him to see his emotionless face. Oh god...
Tears start coming when I once again hear the cry; My mum.

Early update! Ig. Ya'll! My other book has like 20.7 k views and this book is now behind : ( both these books had equal views last week. I feel like ya'll are not enjoying the book.
