My Past

Chapter 20

Amelia's Pov

Darkness...is all I can see. Pain...is the only thing my body can feel. Fear...that's the only thing in my mind. 

I can't wake up, I don't want to. I don't want to see what's around me, I won't be able to handle it. The only thing I want right now is to be in my parent's arms. My sweet parents...I wish I listened to them...I wish I hadn't come here...If only I could go back in time. 

"Amelia...Baby" A voice whispers to me and I immediately recognise it. Liam...My best friend...my love is here. 

"Li...am.." I swallowed. My throat was dry and It was difficult to form words. I hear someone pouring water. 

"Here." I open my eyes and saw Liam holding a glass of water. I gently took it and drink it, taking small sips. 

It was after I was finally able to see everything, I notice Liam's Face. Red and swollen...there were brushes all over his face. I touch the large cut that was on his chin and he hiss in pain, I jerked my hand back. 

Tears forms in my eyes as I look at his face. "Oh god..." 

Liam smiles gently and looks towards the window. I notice that we were in the same room where I was before. I frown. What kind of games does he wanna play? 

"Liam...I want to tell you something" I say and wince at my hoarse voice. 

"Princess, first we need to get out of here okay?" He says and holds a hand out to me, I accepted his help. 

After dusting my clothes. I look around, "How the hell are we going to escape?" I look towards the window and gasp. 

We were in the middle of the ocean. Huge waves were crashing against the ship we were in. The sky was blue, looking as beautiful as ever. At a distance, Dolphins were swimming with their pods. "Wow..." That's all I managed to speak. I have never seen dolphins and this...was magnificent. 

"Baby, I will buy you a whole damn sea. But later, we gotta get out of here." Liam says in a serious tone. I nod, still looking at the view. 

Thud! Thud! Liam bangs on the window with his shoulder. My eyes widen. "What the hell are you doing?" I ask. 

"Breaking it" Liam says, still trying to open the window. 

"Liam! Someone will come! Plus you can't just...open it like that." I say, trying to be the logical person here. 

Liam chuckles, "Oh love, I am the mafia prince. I can do it." With that, he uses all his strength and the window cracks. My eyes widen. 

"Wtf?" Liam winks. He then opens a door on the other side of the room and goes inside. I follow him and saw a big bathroom. He opens some cabinets, finding them empty. 

"Finally" He takes a plank from the small shelf and goes to the window again. 

After hitting the window with the plank, a small part of it breaks. I smile, finding a little hope to get out of here. With a final bang, The window shatters. 

"Yes!" Liam shouts and I look towards the main door. Scared that someone will come anytime now, I whisper to Liam, "Let's go now! Before someone comes." 

Liam signals me to come to the window and I follow his instructions. 

I slid inside the window and a little sharp piece touches my skin ever so slightly. I yelp at the sudden touch but ignores it. 

My feet finally touch the wooden deck and I sigh in relief. Liam too follows me and again the piece of glass touches his skin. 

I yelp at the sudden voice of gunshots. Oh no. Liam takes my hand and we run toward the edge of the ship. 

"Liam! I can't just...jump in the freaking ocean!" I yell at him and he frowns. 

"Amelia, this is not the right time to be scared. Trust me okay?" Liam says. "Hey, you!" Someone says from behind and we saw some men running towards us with guns.

"Amelia. Trust me. I love you." Liam says. 

I shake my head, "Liam-" And before I could say anything, Liam jumps in the ocean.
