Jimin was nervous as he approached rkive, running his fingers through his hair. He had done something he'd been thinking about for the past week or so: he'd changed his hair from his usual blonde to a bluish gray. He did it to match the piece he had choreographed, fitting the theme of his chosen musical accompaniment, Carol of the Bells. Granted, it was a much angrier version of Carol of the Bells, but still. He and Jungkook had already done a run-through in the dance practice room the day before and were ready to record the final version for his midterm submission, which Jungkook had agreed to edit for him.

Jimin placed his beanie back on his head, covering his hair, before stepping up to the large glass windows that made up the storefront of rkive. He pulled the door open, and a rush of warmth and the scent of coffee wrapped around him, replacing the cold that had been clinging to him.

"Minnie," Hoseok called from behind the counter, causing Taehyung and Jungkook to swivel on their stools to face him.

"Hey guys," Jimin smiled as he walked behind the counter and hugged Hoseok before taking the seat Jungkook had pulled out next to him.

Jimin slid his backpack off and tucked it under his feet at the base of the counter. He then removed his gloves, took in a shaky breath, removed his beanie, fluffed his hair out, and waited. It didn't take long.

"Oh, my fucking God!" Hoseok exclaimed when he looked up and caught sight of Jimin's hair.

Jimin didn't get a chance to respond before Namjoon, with Yoongi at his heels, skittered out of his office.

"What's wrong? What's happening?" Namjoon asked, looking around as if expecting a fire.

Instead, he found Hoseok pointing at Jimin. Namjoon looked at Jimin and his mouth popped open.

"Holy shit, Jimin."

"Is it that bad?" Jimin asked, now self-conscious and really wishing he hadn't gone through with dyeing his hair.

"Jimin, forget dating. I'm going to need you to marry me," Yoongi spoke, his mouth slightly ajar at how stunning Jimin looked with this shade of hair.

Jimin giggled at Yoongi's ridiculous comment, but it made him feel good. He was about to thank him when Taehyung twisted him in his seat to face him and grabbed his face, cupping his cheeks, and began inspecting him the way he did when Jimin modeled for him. Jimin let Taehyung turn his head this way and that until his neck started to hurt.

"Tae, come on."

"I need to photograph you."

Jimin laughed, pulling out of Taehyung's hold and rubbing the back of his neck.

"I'm not kidding, Jimin. I need to photograph you. Like right now."

All of a sudden, Jimin found himself being jerked out of his seat and out the door of rkive faster than he could comprehend what was happening, Taehyung in front of him weaving them through pedestrians toward God knew where.

Jungkook stared at the spot where Jimin had been sitting. He knew his mouth was still hanging open from the moment it had dropped when Jimin pulled off his black beanie. He knew the others around him were talking, but all he could hear was the rush of blood between his ears from how hard his heart was kicking against his chest.

"Did you know about this?" Hoseok's voice cut through his stupor.

"Huh?" Jungkook turned to look at Hoseok.

"Did you know he was going to do that to his hair?" Hoseok asked again.

Jungkook swallowed and shook his head no. Jimin hadn't said a word when they were together yesterday at the dance studio going over his piece. The only thing Jimin had mentioned was that he wanted to film outside, which, given how cold it was, Jungkook wasn't thrilled about. But if that was what Jimin wanted, Jungkook would do it for him.
