Six Months Later ...

Jimin sat behind the counter at rkive chin nestled into the palm of his hand with a fond smile on his lips as he watched Yoongi playing guitar from the one-person platform stage Namjoon had erected just for him. Jimin loved listening to Yoongi play. It made his shifts less boring. Jimin giggled when Yoongi caught his eye and winked at him. Yoongi was still as much a flirt as he ever was.

"Um, hi."

Jimin leaned up from where he was perched on top of the counter heartbeat quickening at the voice that greeted him. Jimin looked at the man in front of him heart swooning.

"Hi, welcome to rkive." Jimin smiled. "What can I get for you today?"

"Not sure to be honest." Jungkook answered pursing his lips.

"Is that so?" Jimin questioned in a teasing tone.

He watched Jungkook step forward coming flush with the counter directly in front of him before breaking out into a smirk.

"Any recommendations?"

Jimin bit his bottom lip in-between his teeth not missing Jungkook's eyes dropping down to them from him doing so. Jimin let his bottom lip pop out from between his teeth grinning.

"I think I know just what you need." Jimin spoke as he leaned forward into Jungkook's space.

"Yeah?" Jungkook asked licking his lips in anticipation.

Jimin hummed as he closed the distance that had shortened with each exchange between them and kissed Jungkook tenderly. Jungkook sighed when Jimin's lips met his having missed him since they'd parted this morning. Jungkook before Jimin could withdraw from him reached a hand up and softly gripped his chin and pecked his lips once more.

"You two are disgusting, you know that?" Seokjin said shaking his head an affectionate smile contradicting his words as he watched Jimin and Jungkook pull apart dopey grins plastered on their faces.

Jimin giggled and shrugged his shoulders not caring that his friends teased them relentlessly at every opportunity they got.

"Oh, let them be." Yoongi voiced as he slid into the seat next to Jungkook.

Jungkook broke out into a smile wrapping an arm around Yoongi's shoulders side hugging him in greeting. Yoongi acted disgruntled but Jimin knew otherwise as did Jungkook.

"Where are the others?" Namjoon asked stepping out from behind Seokjin as he came out of his office glancing around for any sight of Hoseok and Taehyung.

As if his words summoned them both Hoseok and Taehyung walked through the front door bickering from their body language. Jimin had to hold back a laugh when he saw Taehyung draw a hand to his chest mouth agape face scandalized at something Hoseok said to him. Hoseok looked pleased as he crossed towards where Jimin and the others were gathered.

"You take that back!" Taehyung shouted as he closed the gap between him and them.

"Not on your life." Hoseok replied with a snicker.

"What are you two arguing about now?" Jungkook asked.

Taehyung dropped his bag on top of the stool he now stood in front of. He let out an indignant huff glaring at Hoseok who still looked very pleased with himself.

"Hobi said that my photography skills were mediocre. MINE!" Taehyung pointed at himself.

"Hobi." Jimin drawled with a look that Hoseok rolled his eyes at.

"Fine. I'm sorry." Hoseok let out with a pointed finger in Taehyung's direction. "But I swear to God if I trip over another one of your tripods, I'm moving out."

"Don't do me any favors." Taehyung clapped back.

Everyone burst into laughter, even the customer that Jimin was ringing up. Jimin shook his head still chuckling as he turned to make the mocha cappuccino the customer had ordered.

Jimin thought about the fact that they only had themselves to blame for being stuck as roommates as he made the mocha cappuccino. The two of them had hosted an intervention of sorts three months after they found Jimin and Jungkook kissing on the floor in what used to be Taehyung's and Jungkook's apartment now Jimin's and Jungkook's apartment. Long story short, both Hoseok and Taehyung were over the sickeningly disgusting displays of affection (Hoseok described with a smile) they were exposed to whenever they were at each other's places. But really Jimin is pretty sure it was when the two of them walked in on the two of them in a compromising position Jimin and Jungkook determined to get a quicky in before movie night started at Hoseok's and Jimin's place.

Jimin giggled at the memory as he turned around, walked to the end of the counter, and handed off the finished mocha cappuccino to the customer. Jimin caught Jungkook's eye as he walked back to help another customer at the register, and Jungkook gave him a knowing smile likely revisiting the same memory as Jimin had.

Jungkook was still grinning as he watched Jimin take another order for another customer. Jungkook was in the middle of letting out a happy sigh when he felt himself pulled down into the stool he'd been standing in front of. He already knew it was Yoongi even before he spoke.

"Stop drooling."

Jungkook chuckled as he settled into his seat more comfortably next to Yoongi. Yoongi who used to be Jungkook's competition, what Jungkook didn't even realize he thought him as, had become one of his closest friends. Especially after Jungkook learned what he'd done for both him and Jimin. Jungkook smiled at his friend as he took a sip of his coffee.

"Spit it out." Yoongi said setting his drink down.

Jungkook's smile grew bigger, "thanks."

Yoongi sighed, "this again."

Jungkook laughed, "yeah this again."

Jungkook on occasion would randomly thank Yoongi for helping him realize his feelings. Okay, maybe not occasionally more like a lot. But really it was the least Jungkook could do. Jungkook had a feeling, scratch that, Jungkook knew that if it weren't for Yoongi, he'd still be living obliviously to both his and Jimin's feelings.

He felt Yoongi clap a hand down on his shoulder and squeeze it just as he always did when Jungkook thanked him. Jungkook smiled before looking back in the direction he knew Jimin was in. Except he wasn't there but standing in front of him setting a cup down in front of him.

Jungkook met Jimin's eye and just like he had the day he'd first met Jimin, Jimin smiled and gave him an encouraging nod towards the cup. Jungkook took one look at it and knew exactly what it was. A matcha latte. Jungkook reached forward intertwining Jimin's hand with his own and lifted the cup to his lips with his other. As he took a sip, he looked around rkive thinking about the day he'd stumbled upon it and met Jimin. It was a day that would change his life.

It was the day he began falling in love at a coffee shop.
