Jungkook looked up from his laptop when he heard Jimin laughing his lips automatically smiling at the sound. His smile didn't last long turning into a scowl when Jungkook spotted the cause of it, Yoongi. Yoongi bothered Jungkook especially with how blatantly he would hit on Jimin, one of his best friends.
Jungkook's eyes narrowed as he watched Yoongi sit up from his stool and lean forward on his elbows with that stupid grin, he wore that Jungkook only saw when he was talking to Jimin and say something that made Jimin throw his head back laughter spilling from Jimin's lips directly after. Jungkook scoffed but immediately grimaced in pain and looked down at his hand that was now bleeding the remnants of his pencil that used to be whole snapped in half.
"Fuck!" Jungkook let out as he stood up from his seat the chair scraping against the floor as he did.
"What's wrong?" Jimin's voice asked from in front of him making him look up to see that Jimin was standing in front of him no longer behind the counter.
Jungkook was about to say nothing when Jimin noticed his hand was bleeding and immediately reached out for it taking in into his own examining it.
"Jungkook what the hell happened?" Jimin asked him concerned eyes finding his own.
"I must have pressed down on the pencil too hard."
That had to be the reason right, I mean what other reason could there be Jungkook thought as Jimin led him by his injured hand from around the table towards the main counter without a word. Jungkook's eyes were trained on Jimin's hand gingerly wrapped around his own careful of the cut in the middle of it where a few dots of blood were blooming still. Were Jimin's hands always this small or were his always this big Jungkook was wondering as he was pulled behind the main counter.
"You okay there Jungkook?"
Jungkook looked up to see Yoongi leaning up to peer at Jungkook's hand still gripped in Jimin's hand as they walked past him.
"Oh, yeah, just, stupid pencil broke is all." Jungkook explained with a shrug.
Yoongi's eyebrows raised up slightly and a smirk appeared on his lips, "wonder how that happened?"
Jungkook was a little confused by his statement but didn't have time to dwell on it as he was pulled into Namjoon's office.
"Namjoon watch the front while I clean up Jungkook's hand."
Jungkook had to hold back a laugh at the look on Namjoon's face when Jimin told him to go out front.
"Sometimes I wonder who owns this place." Namjoon sighed as he tossed his pen down and got up from his desk doing as Jimin asked.
Jimin ignored Namjoon's comment and walked into the employee lounge where Jungkook had only been a few times. It was a nice set up as far as he was concerned.
As soon as you walked through the door there was a kitchenette on your left that melded into the open lockers that took up the left wall. The wall directly across from the entrance door had built in seating that was lined with throw pillows for comfort that ran the length of it until where it stopped at the door for the bathroom which was a full bathroom with shower stall and all. The last wall which was on the right was filled with books from floor to ceiling. There were other little things around the lounge like a coat rack and art hung here and there along with potted plants. If Jungkook had to choose a single word to describe the space he'd choose the word, homey.
"Sit." Jimin instructed as soon as they were in the bathroom.
"Yes, sir." Jungkook teased as he sat on the toilet lid.
