Jungkook looked at his watch. It was a few minutes after 7 and he was getting worried, because Jimin was never late. If anything, he was always early. He glanced in the direction Jimin would have to come from and was met with nothing but the pathway that led to him and the clearing he was set up in. Jungkook decided to give him a few more minutes before calling. To occupy those minutes, he rechecked all the equipment he'd set up, which he knew was fine, but he needed something to do to quiet his worried mind.

"Hey." Jungkook heard from behind him, and stood up from where he was crouching, rechecking that the small clearing was within frame.

Jungkook turned around with a smile on his lips and faced Jimin, and promptly froze. Jimin looked beautiful, stunning, and every other adjective Jungkook's brain could supply. He took the cup Jimin offered him without a word, only able to stare.

"Is everything okay?" Jimin asked when Jungkook didn't greet him back.

Jungkook simply nodded before clearing his throat.

"Yeah, sorry, um, hey. How are you?" Jungkook somehow managed to get out.

Jimin smiled up at him and Jungkook felt his heartbeat quicken. Before he could wonder if he was having a heart attack, Jimin was shucking off his coat and laying it on top of his backpack. Jungkook was now definitely having a heart attack, because seeing the white, flowy outfit in combination with Jimin's hair and makeup had him struggling to breathe.

"Thanks again for helping me out with this," Jimin spoke as he stepped out of his shoes.

Jungkook let out a soft "no problem."

Jimin shivered now that he was shoeless and felt the cold ground at his feet. He glanced over at Jungkook, who was looking at him strangely. Jimin went to run his fingers through his hair, a nervous habit, but stopped himself, not wanting to mess it up. He bit his bottom lip instead.

"Is something wrong?"

"Wrong?" Jungkook uttered with a tilt of his head.

"Yeah, I mean. You're looking at me funny," Jimin spoke, looking down.

Jungkook, without thinking, took a step toward Jimin and brought his hand up, and with cold fingers tilted Jimin's chin up to look at him. He saw Jimin's eyes widen slightly. This close, Jungkook took the time to really take in Jimin's features. It was like seeing him for the first time.

"You look beautiful."

Jimin sat there stunned, at both the way Jungkook was looking down at him and his words. It was the first time Jungkook had ever told him that he looked beautiful. Jimin's mouth parted in shock. He saw Jungkook's eyes dart down to his lips, Jungkook's own lips parting slightly, causing Jimin's heart to skitter in his chest. But all of a sudden, Jungkook let go of his chin and stepped back, clearing his throat.

"We should get started."

Jimin stared at Jungkook, who was looking everywhere except at him.

"I figured we could do a practice run first, like we did in the dance studio, just to make sure everything goes smoothly since we're outside."

Jimin could only agree, still trying to recover from what had just happened. "Okay."

"Okay." Jungkook nodded, going to recheck the lighting before coming to a crouch behind his camera. "Whenever you're ready."

Jimin stared at Jungkook, who was still not looking at him as if he were afraid to, and pulled his phone from his jacket pocket. He went into his playlist and pulled up the song he was going to dance to, then tucked the inconspicuous earpiece into his ear so he could hear the music without blasting it in the middle of the park. Jimin walked over to Jungkook and nudged him to hand the other earbud to him along with his phone for him to hit play when they started. Jungkook took it from him with a small nod.
