Ryujin's POV

Me, Yeji and Lia were speeding between the cars, riding our motorcycles quite dangerously. I rode Yeji's and she rode mine. Lia didn't let us ride her bike because 'no one will touch her precious baby except for herself'.

I got her though, she rode a Ducati Diavel 1260. I rode a monster bike myself too, which now was between Yeji's legs. It's a Honda CBR1000 RR, a real leader motorcycle. I warned her beforehand, but I knew that she was a responsible rider so no worries.

While the other two rode monster bikes, I rode Yeji's Yamaha R7 which had 689cc. It was slower than mine but it was rideable. Yeji didn't like going as fast as me and Lia so she got herself a fast, but not as fast as ours.

We drove off the highway, onto a more deserted rode by a big flat landscape with a few trees here and there. I rode between Lia and Yeji, Lia was on the front and Yeji was on the back.

I revved playfully at them and they revved back, speeding up a little. I decided to take Yeji's back to it's limits and race Lia along the straight road, which she happily accepted. I knew that I wasn't going to win but I liked the adrenaline.

Yeji was still behind us. She honked at us and revved before my bike ripped between the air with her still on it. I slowed down a little with Lia, laughing at our dumb action before I saw a light flash in my mirror, followed by a loud crashing sound.

I pressed the brakes immediately and made a U-turn, only to see my bike laying a few feet away from Yeji as she lifted her head from the ground. Me and Lia both quickly sped back to Yeji and I could feel my heart drop. My motorcycle was completely crashed, the cockpit wasn't a cockpit anymore but just some cables tangled with each other attached to the front wheel.

I stopped Yeji's bike and got off, taking my helmet and gloves off.

I saw Yeji sitting up in the corner of my eyes and quickly ran to her, kneeling right in front of her to check if she was alright. I heard her cries through the helmet as I took it off slowly. Yeji was indeed crying, sobbing almost.

"Fuck, I'm sorry." She said through her tears, trying to get up only to stumble upon her own feet. I took her hands and sat her back down gently. "Yeji, are you okay?" I glances at Lia worriedly and then back at Yeji who couldn't seem to look into my eyes.

"I'm so sorry for crashing your bike, Ryujin, I-" Yeji tried to choke out between her sobs while I cupped her cheeks, trying to get her to look at me. "Yeji, are you okay?" I cut her off, wiping her tears. She nodded and tried getting up, getting pulled back once again by me. "Are you sure, baby? Are you hurt?"

She shook her head and looked at me, bursting into more tears as she did. "I'm sorry for crashing your bike, Ryujin." She whimpered out, holding onto me tightly as the tears still streamed down her face in a fast pace.

"It means nothing to me, Yeji. Look at me." I quickly said, lifting her head so she could look at me. "That thing means absolutely nothing to me. All I care about is you. I could bet another motorcycle for myself, that doesn't matter."

Yeji breathed out shakily, letting a few tears fall onto the ground before getting up. Lia helped her up, patting her back comfortingly. "Yeji, you know that we care about you more than the bike. It's okay, please don't cry."

I got up and walked towards my bike, feeling my stomach drop a little more at the sight of it being that mashed. It did matter, but just a little. I was going to get a new bike anyway but it still would be hard to say goodbye to this one after 2 years of riding it.

"Oh you poor thing..." I whispered, lifting the bike off the ground and putting it on the kickstand. I saw the keys laying next to the bike, all crooked and covered in dirt. I'll keep them as a souvenir.
