Take it easy (requested)

The past two weeks have been a little messy and different.

Yeji had upcoming exams - they were in two days to be exact - and would refuse to leave the office room.

Ryujin and Yeji have moved in together when they were both two years into university. They were best friends since forever, started dating right before graduation in high school and went to the same university in Seoul.

The girls' parents decided to buy them an apartment near the uni as a present and they absolutely loved it. The apartment was bigger than average and they even had place for a room to study.

Yeji's parents had a very successful company that made rather inappropriate toys for adults, while Ryujin's parents had a few restaurants running in Seoul, and not Seoul only. They had the highest, 3 star Michelin restaurants that sold very expensive meals.

Her father - Myung - was a famous chef all over the world, so Ryujin was also knows across the world. Although she didn't show up on media that much, she was still known to those who were interested in the culinary subject.

Ryujin studied business management and culinary arts, just like her parents. Yeji, however, didn't go the same path as her parents. They didn't mind, of course. As long as their little girl was happy.

Yeji studied art. And it was much harder than she expected.

Her exams were nearing and they were very important. The results basically decided if she could continue her art course. If she failed those, she would have to start over again. Yeji didn't want that.

So she studied. She studied hard for hours. The studying caused much stress and that started to worry Ryujin. Normally when Yeji had to study, she would lose focus before she reached her limit. But the importance of the upcoming exams put her under an incredible amount of pressure that she pushed.

She pushed her limits so hard that all the stress and unpleasant feelings caused her to lash out of Ryujin sometimes. Ryujin understood, she really did, but couldn't help but feel sad about the fact that Yeji didn't want to spend time with her.

The only times she would see the girl was at home; right before going to the university, when they were having dinner and when they went to bed. Luckily, they still cuddled before sleep and Ryujin made sure that Yeji went to sleep less stressed.

That was five days ago.

Yeji's bad behavior towards the younger increased and she started to physically feel worse too. She would walk into their bedroom well past midnight with dark circles around her eyes and slumped shoulders. Ryujin always felt her heart sink further into her chest whenever she saw the woman.

She felt lonely.

Yeji wasn't there to talk to her or spend time with her, which made her crave her more. The last kiss they shared was a week ago. It made her feel empty on the inside and knowing that the girl was behind the wall, in the other room, she still missed her.

Today wasn't any different.

Ryujin was sitting in the couch in the living room when it was nearing dinner time. She wanted to ask her girlfriend what she wanted to eat but she knew that the second she would walk into the office, she would get kicked out instantly.
