Fluff (Yeji selective mute)
_____
Ryujin's POV

I glanced at the girl next to me, smiling at the small drawings that she made in her notebook. Yeji was the, well, quiet girl. She was the outcast of practically the whole school and nobody was friends with her. Everyone keeps joking about how she has only imaginary friends, but that's not true.

I've been her friend all along. Her best friend and also her girlfriend. She didn't want anyone to know because she has issues at home so it was her own choice not to announce that the popular jock was her girlfriend.

I offered saying it so the people would quit picking on her but she didn't want to 'ruin' anything for me. I knew that it wasn't about me, but more about her situation at home. Her parents are religious and strictly homophobic, but her dad is also a drunk and an abuser.

Incidents happened but she tried to assure me that everything was fine. I knew it wasn't and I offered her to live with me but she didn't want to yet. She slept at my house at least 3 times a week but she didn't want to move in.

I can't blame her though.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a loud crash next to me. I looked to the side, seeing the infamous Choi Jisu with her little army. "Hey, Hwang, you gon' talk today or nah?" She smirked and flicked Yeji's forehead, making her look down.

"So pathetic. What are you gonna do, huh? Tell the teacher?"

I could see the tears swimming in her eyes and her cheeks burn up in embarrassment. I knocked on my desk, catching her attention. Lia looked at me and smiled sweetly, twirling her hair around her finger. "Hey, you thick jock. You free on Friday? We have a party and it's going to get hot." She leaned over my desk, trying to show off the narrow space between her breasts which I didn't bother to look at.

"Yeah, I don't know..." I sighed softly and crossed my arms too, pretending to think. Lia licked her lips and looked at me seductively, attempting to make me fall into her trap. "Come on, you might get treated...by me." She smirked and traces her fingers up my arm, which I shrugged off.

"I have plans with a friend. I don't think that she would want to go to a party." I leaned back in my chair, getting a little impatient with the smaller girl. "Oh, your little friend isn't invited, so..."

"Then I'm most definitely not going. My friend is really important to me and I don't think she would really appreciate me ditching her for some cheerleaders." I shrugged once again and glanced to the side quickly, seeing Yeji lost in her though, scribbling something on her paper.

Lia huffed and walked away to her own desk which was all the way in the front. Yeji looked up and showed me the drawing proudly. It was a drawing of two cute figures with heart flying around, the smaller one kissing the slightly taller's cheek. The smaller one was me, of course.

I made a heart with my fingers and smiled softly, mouthing 'I love you' to her. She scribbled some more on her paper and showed it again. I love you too <3

That's the way we communicated, I talked, she wrote. Confessing to her was a little easier than normally though, I wrote a letter of around three thousand words to her, which meant a lot to her. She framed the letter and hung it up above her bed with a dried rose petal behind the glass.

"Shin Ryujin, what's the answer to question 14 d?"

I snapped my head to the teacher and cleared my throat.

"It's 'oxytocin gets released when people orgasm', miss." I answered and felt a stare next to me. I turned my head to the side and saw Yeji looking at me with a smirk, winking playfully. Blood rushed to my cheeks and I sunk in my chair, covering my face with my jacket.
