Surprise (Chris P.o.v)

When Derek is done grilling he puts all the steaks on one plate and comes to sit down at the table with everyone else. We all grab a steak and start to eat. After we have all finished I decide that it is the perfect time to propose to Jesse, I grab the ring box in my hands but before I can pull it out if my pocket I hear the doorbell ring. Liam looks up confused and excuses himself and goes to open the door. I decide that I'm going to wait for Liam to get back before proposing. After a few seconds he yells for Jesse to come to the door. Jesse gets up and walks inside. Liam comes back to sit down, and after a little while passes I decide to go inside to check on Jesse.

Once inside I hear him ask "Why are you here?!" A strangely familiar voice answers back with "I had to make sure you were ok." Jesse just says "You saw me, so now you can just..." Jesse suddenly stops speaking so I peek around the corner to see if he's ok, I can't help but gasp at what I see. I see my bother Kyle standing there holding Jesse's hands in his, with his lips attached to Jesse's. I feel numb for a second until I see Jesse trying to push Kyle away, when Kyle doesn't move I feel my rage start to stir and I say "Hey Kyle! Get your fucking hands off my boyfriend!"

Kyle releases Jesse and says "Long time no see little brother. How have you been?" I let out a dark chuckle and sarcastically say "Probably not better than you. I'm assuming you have been enjoying life on the run." Kyle looks down at Jesse and says "It has it's perks." The way he's looking at Jesse pushes me past my breaking point and I make a move to punch Kyle. He quickly dodges my punch and says "You'll have to be quicker than that if you want to hit me." I try to punch him again, and this time I end up punching him right in the nose. When his nose starts to bleed I let out a menacing laugh and say "Red really is your color Kyle." We start trying to punch each other, Kyle punches in the jaw, and I'm about to connect another punch with his nose when I hear Jesse scream "Both of you need better cut it out right now! If you're fighting about me then you are wasting your time, because I hate fighting, and I hate people who fight!"

After Jesse says this he walks upstairs to go to his room. Kyle wipes his noes of the blood and I see his nose is already healed, angel power really sucks sometimes. I see Will walk inside dragging a reluctant Noah behind him and I ask "Can you guys do me a favor?" Will says yes and Noah just nod his head, knowing that this will be the best decision I say "Can you guys go talk Jesse down for me?" Noah straightens up and asks "What'd you do that made him go up there in the first place?" I gesture to Kyle and say "We were fighting over him and he got pissed at us." Will looks at Kyle and asks "So, Who is he?" I say "This is my brother Kyle." Will nods his head and after one last look at both Kyle and me he walks upstairs with Noah.

I turn to Kyle after their gone and ask "What are you doing here?" Kyle smirks and says "Well, I came here to visit Jesse. Did I mention we met when you were away? We really connected too." I start to feel angry again but I push it down and ask "What lies have you been filling Jesse's head with while I've been away?" Kyle just says "I haven't told him anything that isn't true. I especially meant it when I told him I loved him, and that I intended to take him from you." Before I can say anything about what he has just said I hear Derek and Liam come inside.

They walk to where Kyle and me are and Derek asks "Who is this?" I smile at them and say "This is my older brother Kyle Reed. He's here because he heard that I was planning on proposing to Jesse and wanted to be here for it because he's one of Jesse's friends." I can't believed I just lied to both of them, I didn't know what else to say. I hurt to smile while saying all of that, but it was the only thing that could be said that wouldn't raise too many questions. Derek and Liam nod their heads and before they can say anything else Jesse walks downstairs with Will and behind him, and let me just say Jesse looks extremely pissed. Well things just got a whole lot interesting.
