N: "No, he doesn't," Erna replied, patting her chicken on the head, but he found it annoying so he pecked her finger. She retracted her hand and frowned, "You're not helping my case here."
Meanwhile, Johann was just staring at Esha in horror, "Those things you said ... are not chickens. At all." He gingerly got up from his hiding spot and inched towards his seat, keeping one eye on Mr. Hähnchen while he ate.
"So, Esha," Royal asked, glancing at Scotland with a mischievous grin, "were there any seagulls in your time, you see, Scotland here loves seagulls."
The Scot almost choked on his drink as his eyes flickered between the hybrid and the Eternal, and wheezed, "No I bloody don't."
M: "Seagulls," Esha repeated, tapping her chin as she was deep in thought, "no I don't think so, there are sea dragons and large birds that hunt in the ocean like Rocs and Thunderbirds, but nothing like seagulls."
She thought a little bit harder then a light bulb clicked, "though there were Tapejaras, it is a creature you guys call dinosaurs, it was a winged dinosaur with a massive sail on top of its head, they could be seen sailing across the sea, literally skimming the water and using the sail on their head to provide momentum, it was quite fascinating to watch."
N: "Good, no seagulls," Scotland muttered, "although those Tapejaras would have been nice to see."
"If you like it so much, let me get you a seagull," Royal suggested, preparing to stand, which the Scot quickly asked her not to.
"Let's just eat in peace," Anglo asked, "I just want the rest of the day to be quiet and hopefully scaring-people-free."
M: Esha nodded and focused on her food, the Mandorians also went quiet to eat. The rest of dinner was relatively quiet, a few jokes and stories were thrown around but other than that it was peaceful.
At one point Edel decided to bring Sleipnir in to join but eight hooves and a polished tile floor don't really mix, Esha had to leave to take him back outside. When they were outside the sun was setting and was creating a beautiful painting of pink, purple, and orange, so the Eternal decided to stay out and watch it.
N: After they had finished, Scotland decided to see where Esha went, and when he found her, he softly smiled and walked up to her. Behind him were Wales and Anglo, and the younger country was trying to convince the older to go on a leisurely flight with him over the castle, but the elder kept on refusing. "I need to keep an eye on England, my boy," he kept on repeating.
"Come on, Grandpa," Wales spoke, hovering beside him as they went outside, "Royal is going to be with him anyway. It won't hurt anyone."
"Actually, I'm not," the hybrid said, walking past them as she went outside, "I need to do some scouting to find something," and with that she took off, heading towards the woods. Wales sighed at the sight, and he turned back to Anglo with puppy eyes, still trying to convince him.
"Fine, fine," he replied as they reached the green, "but only for ten minutes, then I have to check on your father. Deal?"
"Deal," Wales smiled, and soon the both of them were flying over the castle, taking in the view as they enjoyed the breeze on their faces.
Scotland stood next to the Eternal, and after a moment of letting her admire the sunset, he said, "There are only a few things which are a beauty in this world, and the sunset really does outside them all." He then turned to her and asked, "You called me Uskaine back in the tower. Who are they, or should I have to wait to know?"
