N:   Heinrich solemnly nodded before following everyone else outside, although some were confused when they walked right past the cemetery and no one was by the graves.

They all kept on walking until they reached the lake, and by the water was a small decorated dock with a small wooden boat tied to a nearby post. With the sun setting behind them, a line of servants came holding lanterns to light up the night, and after a couple of minutes, a large crowd had formed, from various people from the compound to people who lived in the nearby town and were the Saxon's neighbors.

Soon, Saxon walked up to a wooden platform and cleared his throat. "As requested by Mr. Alaric Schwartz," he began, "he wanted to prepare a more traditional funeral, one in honor of the heritage of the late Maria Hass. Therefore, because of the type of funeral, I was asked to officiate it, as the representative of the Saxon people."

The entity turned towards the tree line and raised his hand, and soon the crowd parted as Erna, Wolfgang, Leon, and Eva walked through, and between them, they carried a stretcher where Maria's body lay, and a thin cloth covered her body. They walked until they reached the boat, where they carefully lowered the stretcher into it before they merged back into the crowd.

"We have all come here tonight to witness someone who was taken too soon from this world," Saxon announced, "that the waters will gently carry her away into the arms of the gods, and the fire that will light her path. Now, is there anyone who would wish to speak?"

All eyes turned to Heinrich, and he shrunk at the sudden pressure to speak, so when the entity looked to him for an answer, he shook his head.

"Very well," Saxon nodded, "in that case, may Mr. Schwartz come forward." Alaric soon emerged from the crowd, and once he went on the platform, Saxon patted his shoulder before stepping off. The Saxon turned to face the crowd, and once he had steeled his nerves, he spoke.

"Maria was always a voice of reason at any moment, from when we first met as teenagers in a small town in Saxony, to when we arrived on this island. Despite the disagreements we may have had, she was always a friend I could confide to and a wise woman who gave sound advice. My heart goes to her son," he glanced at Heinrich, "for we all know the immense love for her child, and the bond between them is the strongest of bonds."

The Saxon paused for a bit to collect his thoughts, and to stop himself from tearing up in front of everyone. "Back home, after Prussia had established control, Maria, Leon, Eva, and myself made a promise between each other," he revealed, "that if any of us died, one of us would be responsible for the other's funeral, and that they would be respected. We were paired; Maria with myself, and Leon with Eva. Today was my day to respect someone who has been a comrade in our hardship, a survivor in our broken home, and a friend who deserved even more than I could provide today. May her soul be taken up into the heavens and her name never leave our minds."

With that, Alaric silently left the stage, and Saxon quickly hopped on, thanking the human as he passed. "Does anyone else have something to say," he asked.

M:   Mandoria raised his hand, wishing to say a few words as well, he took Saxon's place and stood before the crowd, he tried to keep a strong stance but the running paint on his face indicated that tears were shed.

"I haven't known Maria that long, probably a good six to seven months now, but in that time my family and I had grown very close to her," he told, "she was the first person we met after escaping King Prussia's hold, she was the first person to show us kindness in three years, not including Saxon and Wald, and she helped us relearn how to trust again. My family and I owed her our sanity, for helping us out of the mental prison we were confined to, I just wish we could have repaid her for it."
