M:   There were murmurs of agreement but nothing more, it was largely a nervous atmosphere, most everyone was expecting things to go horribly wrong, they just didn't know when or how many times, so no one was really excited about the ball anymore. They were especially worried since their biggest means of protection was still fun-sized, everyone agreed that Esha was the one who had the balls to set these empires straight if they got out of hand, but she couldn't really be intimidating if she was small.

"How is Anglo doing today," she asked quietly, "is he still doing the ball?"

N:   "Honestly, I don't know," England answered as he sat not too far from the Eternal, "even if his mood somehow gets better for the next day or so, a mental scar has reopened, not to mention the clear wound on his face."

"But we got the speeches ready and he wouldn't have to host the ball," Scotland quickly added.

"That's if he wants to show his face at all," the Englishman muttered.

M:   Esha whimpered in shame and sadness, she felt so horrible about what she did, she just wanted to make it better somehow. She didn't say a word for the rest of breakfast, she didn't even touch her remaining food, and when everyone was done she dodged Scotland and Celtica to go see Anglo.

He was still in the infirmary and when she saw his face completely bandaged up she felt even worse, he couldn't even see her come in with how his face was wrapped.

"Anglo, I'm so so sorry," she said as she walked up to his bed, putting her hand on his, "I shouldn't have done this, I had no reason to even be mad at you." Her voice caught in her throat as she began to cry, "I-I'm so sorry, I d-don't know what else to say, I'm just so sorry."

N:   Anglo sensed Esha was nearby with his wings, and when she touched his hand, he did nothing as he listened to her.

Eventually, the Englishman gently raised his hand and placed it on her head, letting out a deep sigh as he patted her. "Don't blame yourself," he muttered quietly, his voice muffled by the bandages, "it's my fault I snapped, and I didn't see the consequence of my actions. I'm sorry I made you feel this way."

M:   Esha grabbed his arm and hugged it to calm herself down, though it still took a few minutes to do so.

"I-I can still fix this, it's just like when I swiped England when we first met," she declared, "it might not heal completely since we waited a day, but at least it won't hurt anymore. Wait here, I'll go get my bag."

She rushed out of the infirmary before Anglo could respond, coming back a few minutes later with Saxon in tow.

"Saxon's here too, I ran into him on accident when coming back," the eternal explained, "when he asked what I was doing and I told him, he said he was coming with to keep an eye on me and made sure I didn't hurt you more, isn't that right Sir. Freak-Out?"

N:   "True, especially after what you did," Saxon muttered, "but I just wanted to keep an eye on him. Lately, he hasn't been ... stable."

While Esha got ready, the entity helped sit Anglo up and began to unwrap his bandages, and whenever he touched his face, the other would flinch and swat him away. "Tut mir leid," was all he kept on repeating under his breath until he was done.

When Anglo finally opened his eyes, they weren't shattered but dull, the former golden light in his eyes had disappeared and all that was left was a silent country who slowly turned to the Eternal.
