Mine
"You really do know your priority for this night, huh?" I raised my eyebrow as I watched him open the car door for me. He even offered his arm so I could anchor my arm.
"Of course," he confidently replied.
"Chester Sage, yumayabang, Adams," parinig ko rito habang naglalakad kami papasok sa loob ng venue.
"It's crowded," he whispered.
"What do you expect? Come on, it's a club, Sage," I became uncomfortable when we entered the club. Papasok pa lang ay mainit na dahil sa rami ng tao, nakakabingi rin ang tugtog mula sa naglalakihang speakers.
"Are you okay? You want to go home?" He asked as he carefully guided me to pass those people who are partying and enjoying their nights.
"I'm okay, sayang ang ipinunta natin kung aalis lang din agad tayo. I will tell you if I'm not well," gaya ng sinabi ko ay tinuloy na lang namin ang pagpunta. Club ito, ano pa bang aasahan ko.
"Ri!" Ruby shouted and waved her hand.
"Happy birthday, By!" I greeted her and gave my gift. It's Ruby's birthday, the reason why I am here even though it's not my thing partying or going to clubs.
"Happy birthday, Ruby," pagbati ni Sage saka nag-abot din ng regalo niya.
"Salamat sa inyo," nakangiting pasasalamat niya.
"Sage! Tara!" Boses iyon ni Hayden na nakaupo sa couch kasama ang ibang miyembro ng Atlas. Sage looked at me without saying anything, but questioning me through his eyes.
"Go ahead, it's a party," I sweetly said.
"You sure–" Bailey snatched me from Sage and hid me behind her and Ruby.
"Go na, Sage. Kami na ang bahala kay Ri," pagputol ni Bailey sa sasabihin sana ni Sage. He walked towards the table where the Atlas band and Hayden are sitting.
"It's loud, and freaking hot," mahinang reklamo ko kay Bailey nang makaalis si Sage.
"Gaga, club 'to, hindi simbahan. Alangan namang magdasal tayo rito, 'di ba," she spat.
"Where's Savina and Avery?" I asked Ruby even though I already know the answer.
"They greeted me, but never showed up here. Sam gave me a gift and left, may gagawin pa raw kasi siya," she answered. Pumunta kami sa club counter para kumuha ng inumin. I know why they didn't even bother to come, ayaw pa rin nila kaming makita, ako, to be exact.
"I'll leave you two, aasikasuhin ko pa ang ibang bisita," paalam ni Ruby nang tawagin siya ng iba niya pang bisita.
"Go ahead, we're fine," I assured.
"Okay, enjoy the rest of the night. Baka tomorrow na tayo magkita ulit, Ri," she giggled and I just rolled my eyes at her.
"I know-I know, drink responsibly—" hindi na ako natapos pang paalalahanan ang tita kong palong-palo sa inuman dahil mabilis siyang nagtungo roon sa iba niyang bisita.
Kami na lang ni Bailey ang magkasama ngayon at nag-order ng inumin.
"One Tequila sunrise."
"One long island iced tea," mukhang nagulat si Bailey sa pinili kong inumin.
"You don't want Manhattan, and Daiquiri, anymore?" She chuckled.
"I want to try something new," I shrugged and watched the people partying. Mas lalo pang lumala ang ingay nang mag-ingay ang DJ's.
