"Uwi na na tayo?" Tanong niya sa akin habang nakaupo kami rito sa bench.
"Mayamaya ng kaunti, tapusin na lang muna nating ubusin 'tong pinagbibili natin."
As a girl who doesn't like partying, going out, and spending my time doing activities that involve social involvement, this feels so new to me. Mas gugustuhin ko pang humilata sa bahay hanggang sa matapos ang araw. Pero ngayon, kahit pa siguro hindi na ako umuwi basta't si Sage ang kasama ko ay ayos lang.
"I thought you don't like spending your time outdoors? Anong nangyari? Eating your own food, huh?" Sage jokingly said.
"Shut up," I hissed. We ate the things that we bought, well, most of them were mine. Nang maubos ang oras at pagkain ay nagpasya na akong umuwi na. Sumakay kami sa sasakyan ni Sage at siya ang nagmamaneho.
"May I?" I asked, pertaining to the speaker.
"Sure, Hon," he emphasized the last word then smiled afterward.
"Tuwang-tuwa sa endearment si Adams," wika ko habang naghahanap ng kantang ipatutugtog.
"I won't deny that," I jokingly rolled my eyes and played the song I chose.

When the music played, we both started to jam with it. I moved my feet with the beat and sang the song. Nakikisabay ako sa kanta at ganoon din si Sage na ginagawa pang tambol ang manibela ng sasakyan.
"Bless your soul, you got your head in the clouds. She made a fool out of you. And, boy, she's bringing you down," pagkanta ko.
"She made your heart melt. But you're cold to the core. Now rumor has it she ain't got your love anymore," si Sage. We looked at each other's eyes and sang the chorus in unison.
"RUMOR HAS IT!"
"Let's go, Hon! Rumor has it!" He banged his head while still singing the song. He even acted like he has an imaginary instrument while vibing to the rhythm.
Sa buong byahe ay maingay kaming dalawa. Kapag sinabi kong maingay, maingay talaga. Daig pa namin ang nasa concert. Iyong pagkanta sa matataas na tono ay talaga namang pinaglabanan namin. Hindi kami nagpapatalo sa isa't isa. Walang nagbibigayan. Pero lahat naman ng iyon ay katuwaan lamang.
"It was a fun night, thank you so much, Sage," I wholeheartedly said after I got out of his car.
"My pleasure, Madame," he even bowed like what people do to someone who's higher than them.
"Drive safely. Diretso uwi, ha, Adams," paalala ko. I patiently waited for him to drive away from my house before I went inside.
"What's with that smile?" Mom intriguingly asked.
"You're still up, Mom?" I asked with shock in my face.
"Nauhaw lang ako, hija. Kararating mo lang? Where's Sage?" Sunod-sunod na tanong nito habang naglalakad patungo sa kusina.
"Opo. Pinauwi ko na rin para makapagpahinga na siya," I answered.
"Magpahinga ka na rin, it's late," I nodded as my response and went upstairs.
