Ella Wood, younger sister of Oliver Wood. He had the prefect grades, captain of the Quidditch team and he was placed in Gryffindor. Ella was placed in Hufflepuff, she didn't want to play Quidditch and her grades were decent. It made her resent her family, making her stay at Hogwarts most Christmases and avoided her brother in school.
Through the first years of school she found herself a target to bullies, being compared to her brother and the one person who bullied her the most was Draco Malfoy. Though this year, she grew up more then she was first year, her hair was longer and her body had a figure.
It was her third year at Hogwarts and she wasn't the only one who changed, Draco Malfoy looked different too, his hair was longer, his smile was smugger and his face was sculpted. How did Ella know this? We'll she was staring at him from her seat on the train, her nose in her book and her hair covering her eyes, she was only peeking at him. This was the year, the year she shows him he can't bully her anymore.
On the train that evening, Dementors came aboard searching for Sirius Black. Everyone was quite shaken up from it.
She took her sit at the Hufflepuff table in the dining hall. She didn't have any friends. She felt quite invisible at her table.
Two tables across from her she noticed a certain blonde boy again. He's back was turned to her but he turned around to pester Potter, the superstar at Hogwarts.
She tried hard to listen in on their conversation
"Potter," Draco whispered to Harry. "Is it true you fainted? I mean you actually fainted?"
Ron pushed Harry to look away. "Shove off Malfoy."
Before he turned around, his eyes caught Ella's who quickly turned her attention to Dumbledore speaking at the front of the room. She could feel his glare.
She left the dining hall early that night, wanting to unpack and get a good nights rest for school in the morning. Her shoes clicked on the empty halls floor. She thought she was alone in till a voice spoke from behind her.
"Is that who I think it is? You sure aged terribly."
Ella stopped in her tracks. She turned on her heel to face the smug look of Draco Malfoy. She crossed her arms. "Malfoy don't you look more ugly then last year."
His smug face dropped. "Watch your attitude," he hissed.
"Learn your manners," she said she felt her heart beating so loud in her chest. This was the first time she stood up to him. She let a smirk form on her lips.
He scoffed. "Wipe that smirk off your face," he said stepping forward.
"Or what? You'll hit a girl?" she said stepping forward too, they were only a couple feet away now.
"If I have to," he said stepping closer. They stared at each other intensely but Draco broke off the stare when his name was called from behind. Ella ran off once he was distracted and when he turned back to face her, his face dropped to see she had escaped.
"Was that Ella? She sure looks different," Crabbe said in disbelief.
Draco scoffed. "Come on," he said nudging him to start walking back into the dining hall. He glanced behind him slightly to see her turning a corner and a disappearing.
