Another paper was put on the wall. Umbridge knew they were creating something so she banned all student organizations. That wasn't going to stop them though.

Ella meet the group in the room of requirement.

"Sorry I'm late," she said apologizing to Harry as she got in line with the rest of the students. They had a dummy in front of them with a target.

Longbottom was first, he lifted his wand and said "expelliarmus."

But his wand flew backwards at everywhere.

Harry tried to teach him. "You're just flourishing your wand too much. Try it like this. Expelliarmus."

"Stunning is one of the most useful spells in your arsenal. It's a wizards bread and butter really. So come on then Nigel give it your best shot."

"Stupefy!"

Harry went flying into the wall.

"Good. Not bad at all, Nigel. We'll done."

Hermione and Ron was next.

"Stupefy!"

Ron went flying. Everyone couldn't help but laugh a little.

"I let her do that. It's good manners, inst it?" Ron asked his two twin brothers.

Everyone was standing in a line up outside Umbridges office and one by one she questioned everyone but no one budged.

They were learning how to do Expelliarmus again. Levitating one of the students Negil. It was obvious that Harry was a bit distracted by Cho and so was she.

"Stupefy!"

"Stupefy."

Everyone was practicing in the room of requirement with Harry's help everyday. One rule was put up that caught Draco's and his friends attention. For those wishing to join the Inquisitorial Squad for extra credit. It was basically a group trying to find out what Harry and them were doing. They even got medals to wear from Umbridge.

"Reducto," Ginny yelled casting a spell as everyone watched. The dummy turned to dust.

Next was Expelliarmus. Harry had put a tree in the room. It was around that time for Christmas. Longbottom finally did the spell, everyone cheered for him.

Ella was learning quick too. The spells were simple for her. She felt safer knowing how to use them better.

"So that's it for this lesson. Now, we're not gonna be meeting again until after the holidays. So just keep practicing on your own as best you can. And we'll done, everyone. Great, great work," Harry said dismissing the class.

Everyone began to leave the class. Ella approached the golden trio.

"Merry Christmas to all of you," she said nodding her head.

"Merry Christmas," Harry said as she left the classroom.

Walking down the halls, she felt eyes on her. She stopped in her tracks and turned to see Draco leaning on a wall.

"I feel like I haven't seen you all year," he said crossing his arms.

"Inst it nice?" Ella spoke, juggling her books in her arms.

"What are you up to?" Draco asked, stepping forward. "What are you and Potter up to?"

Ella thought for a moment. "We're snogging, can't get enough of Potter," Ella said smirking as Draco stepped back in horror.

"That's revolting," he said pretending to hold back a vomit.

"Have a good Christmas," she sung as she walked away.

"You too," he mumbled.

That Christmas at the Wood residence wasn't the best. Her presents were the usual and she spent most her time in her room. One thing though that caught her eye was a letter on her desk that was dropped off by an owl.

She picked up the letter and began to read.

Hello. I don't know why I decided to write to you but I am. Merry Christmas. I guess that's all I have to say
D.M

Ella waited days before deciding to write back. It was a short letter and she didn't understand why he felt the need to reach out to her. She wrote back.

Hello. Merry Christmas. Sorry I took a couple days to write back, I wasn't ever expecting a letter to come from you. I guess that's all I have to say
E.W

Ella sent the note off and sighed. He was nice one moment then a bully the next. It made no sense to her.
