When I woke up I was surprised and disappointed to not see Jason by my side; I got up and made the rest of the the bed. Looking around the room I stared straight at the door that was, wide open I knew this was a trick to try and see if I would escape. I was smarter than that so instead I went in the bathroom to do my morning routine and put on a new pair of pajamas.

After an hour of waiting, I tried to keep myself busy by watching Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Their lives are so interesting to keep up with but as time went slowly by I was starting to wonder where the heck Jason is. And as to why he would leave me for this long, so after working up the courage I walked out the door and down the stairs in search for Jason.

"Jase?" I whispered

Suddenly the home phone rang and I picked it up without a second thought.

"Doll are you okay?"

I was relieved to know that he was still alive but at the same time I was upset that he left without telling me.

"I know you're upset that I left you for a little while Lana, but trust me I wouldn't leave you if it wasn't important."

"When will you be back?"

"What are you trying to calculate how much time you have so that you can escape?!"

"What? No! I woke up and stayed in the bedroom with the door wide open for two hours trying to decide whether or not to walk out the door." I said feeling the blood rush to my face

"I'll be there in about thirty minutes doll, and don't even think about trying to escape because I'm a lot closer to you than you think. Love you doll"

"Okay bye Jase"

Hanging up the phone I walked around the house aimlessly giving myself a house tour, since Jason has only showed me the rooms he was in. Coming to a halt I was intrigued by an all black door when all of the other doors in the house were white.

Remembering what Jason had told me on the phone a few minutes ago about how he was closer to me than I thought. Maybe he was in there handling business and I knew better than to mess with him when he's handling business. But I let my curiosity get the best of me and just when I was about to open the door the phone rang again.

"Lana turn around and get away from the door!" Jason said gritting his teeth

Shocked and confused that he knew exactly where I was I was kind of speechless.

"Umm I-"

"There is no Umm Lana just get away from the ғυcĸιng door."

He hung up on me immediately after I stepped away from the door like he ordered me to. Instead of going and watching tv I went upstairs to Jason's room and locked the door, I wanted to cry and be depressed. To avoid that I went to pick up the home phone in the room and dialed a number I was all to familiar with.

It was a suicidal hotline.

I was smart enough not to call my family or friends or else I knew Jason wouldn't let me live to see another day. Which I didn't mind, but considering he wanted me here with him and to be happy I know I'm not going to die anytime soon. I dialed the number in and was greeted with a more than friendly raspy voice who sounded like he could be about my age.

"Hello my name is Dylan this is the suicidal hotline what is your problem today?"

"Everything" I said in a low whisper

"That's what most people tell me. But seriously whats your мαιи issue?"

How could I tell him that I need help without giving away that I was kidnapped? So I made up a quick lie and a pretty believable one at that.
