I awoke from my afternoon nap, gazing around the room surprised to see I was in Jason's old gangs bedroom. I was still in my pajamas from earlier so at least I was spared from the embarrassment of Jason changing me. Getting off the bed I looked over at the clock on the dresser telling me it was 5:21 p.m.

Did I really sleep that long?

Wanting to go downstairs to find Jase I tried opening the door only to find that it's locked.

"Seriously Jase you have some serious trust issues" I whispered and plopped myself on the bed and turned on the tv

As I was trying to Keep Up With The Kardashians considering I was like two seasons behind, I couldn't really keep my focus on the show. Instead I kept thinking about Dylan, there was a home phone conveniently placed on the nightstand. I called Dylan and within five seconds of dialing the number, he picked up in a raspy sleepy voice or was he crying?

"Who is this?" Dylan said holding back sobs

"It's Lana"

"Lana your calling me from a different phone are you alright?"

The tone in Dylan's voice had changed drastically and he actually sounded нappy. I don't know if his emotion changed because he was trying to hide his sadness, or if talking to me made him happy.

"I'm okay"

"Great... That's great"

"How are you Dylan? Don't lie to me either because when you asked who was on the line. You sounded as if you were about to burst into tears."

"Lana I'm fi-"

"Don't lie Dylan"

"Ok then since you care so much about me I wasn't aвoυт to burst into tears I already did, I'm just in a tight position right now. I wish I could tell you but it's a life that I have Lana that you would never understand."

"It doesn't matter if I would never understand it, what's wrong?"

"Everything"

"Understandable, but seriously what's the мαιи issue?"

"You probably wouldn't believe me when I say it anyways"

"OMG just tell me Dylan!" I said annoyed by him trying to stall the conversation

"Okay geez look I know it's may be hard to believe but I'm in a gang or I was, and I got kicked out because I caused the gang to lose ten million dollars. Now I'm practically living off of my last check, which is about three million dollars but it's only so long that's going to last. " Dylan let out a long frustrated sigh

"On top of that being in a gang is obviously dangerous which means as soon as your kicked out your rivalries come after you. That means from now on I have to sleep with one eye open and I almost got killed yesterday! And it just ғυcĸιng sucks!"

"Wow"

"Look Lana you even тalĸιng to me can get you killed so I -"

"I know it's dangerous but I may know a bit more about your gang life than you think."

I know what I was about to reveal to him could possibly get myself killed by Jason, but at this moment I could careless about my safety. Although I don't really know Dylan, he has helped me more in one phone call then my family and friends have combined.

"How?" Dylan said in an unsure tone

I took a deep breath "Have you ever heard of a guy by the name of Jason McCann?"

"Of course I have he was a ғυcĸιng legend every person that was in a gang even our rivals wanted to be like him. He was rich and a threat I actually worked along side him for about two years until he picked up everything and left. He didn't leave a trace behind but the gang and I didn't even search for him we knew we would never find him. Every time we turned to the news his name would always be mentioned, we still don't know where he is now but he was a legend. Any who what about him? "

Dylan talked about Jason as if he were in a trance, it's almost as if Jason was an actual hero instead of a villain.

"Well what if I told you that Jase isn't some random kid I grew up with and he was Jason McCann; and there isn't a Parker involved well actually in my σℓ∂ life. But to sum it up here Jason kidnapped me and plans to keep me with him forever."

"Are ғυcĸιng with me right now Lana?"

"Ew no"

"Not literally I mean are you serious that this happened?!" Dylan said his voice dripping with eagerness

"Not happened Dylan.... IS happening"

"But how?"

"He still hasn't told me how he came across me but he has and I'm here with him now"

"Ok then explain what you do know then."

"Actually Dylan I'm at his old gangs house right now because they still owe him money."

"So your there яιgнт ғυcĸιng иσω?"

"Yes Dylan I swear on my life"

"Oh ғυcĸ Lana I'll be there in thirty minutes, if Jason tries to get you to leave before I get there then just stall."

"Wait Dylan-"

"There is no wait I'll see you in thirty minutes Lana gotta go see you soon"

With that Dylan had hung up and now I sat here and waited for him come, as thoughts were swirling in my head. I thought mostly about the negative that could come out of this like what if Jason gets incredibly jealous? What if he kills Dylan? What if he kills the both of us? What if he gets mad at me for talking to Dylan behind his back?

But I also thought of the positive like what if Dylan and Jason become best friends? What if Dylan gets back in the gang? What if Dylan and I become best friends? What if Dylan wound up giving back all the money he owed them?

I could only wish for the best in hopes of Dylan and I getting closer but only Jason can really decide that.
