I awoke to the blinding Saturday morning sun, I roll onto my back staring up at my ceiling fan watching it go around. It never stopping until I turn the switch off reminding me of my life ahead; it's always so repetitive. Jason's going to do the exact same thing he will stop my whole lifestyle except once the switched is turned off its иєνєя turning back on.

I decided to give Marzia a call and ask if I could come over, I mean I do only have two weeks right? Why not make the most out of it, maybe I'll even go to one of those stereotypical high school parties you always see in the movies where everyone's drunk, dumb, and having fun.

"You know I'm happy you came over and all, but why did you have to wake me up ᔕOOO early" Marzia complained half asleep

" Really Marzia?! It's 10:30 in the morning, it's not that early. If you think this is early then how do you even manage to function at school?" I said in a playfully irritated tone

"There called strict parents, ever heard of them? They wake me up at 4:30 in the morning even though school doesn't officially start until 7:00. I can literally get ready in twenty minutes but they don't believe me so I continue to wake up at 4:30." Marzia said in her defeated voice

"So what happens if you don't wake up at 4:30?"

" Well..... I.... I don't know actually I'm honestly a little to scared to find out what will happen" Marzia said looking at the wall, like she could imagine what would happen if she disobeyed her parents orders.

"Well anyways enough about my parents let's talk about my favorite topic....ᗷOYᔕ" Marzia said excitedly

"So fill me in what's been happening between you and Parker?" Marzia says while wiggling her eyebrows

" Obviously nothing's happening between us, except for Friday I was coming out of the bathroom because....." I stopped there knowing that I couldn't tell her what was really going on either she would think I've gone mad. Or she would believe me and start avoiding me I heard a whisper in my right ear again. It was нιм.

"You have two weeks let's not ruin your relationships the last few times you see everyone." he said in his dark raspy voice

"Because I had a girl-mergency if you know what I mean" I said elbowing her playfully.

Marzia looked like she wanted to say something about the long pause, she could tell by the look on my face that I wouldn't want to talk about it. I really did want to talk about it I ¢συℓ∂ит talk about it or else нє would hurt me or worse; my friends and family.

" Okay weirdo..... Ummm so what happened between you and Parker again?"

" Okay so I was coming out of the bathroom and I accidentally bumped into Parker. Don't worry I didn't drop my stuff like in one of those cheesy high school romance movies. Anyways I was coming out of the bathroom and I bumped into him and he was like "oh sorry Lana, I didn't see you there because your so short". I was like " I know I'm short I get that a lot" then he said " I hope to see you around" and we went our separate ways."

" Wow that's it? You're so lame I totally thought he asked you out on a date, and it would be tonight and you were going to ask me to help you pick out your outfit, do your hair, and makeup. Well maybe we can do all of that for Prom."

As Marzia said this I remembered how short two weeks would really be, Feeling a little bit of sadness hit me knowing that we would not spend our prom together, not only that but Marzia nor I have ever had an official boyfriend.

We would never be able to experience our first break-up, or graduate together, or go to the same college and be roomies. I realized that I would miss so many first with her, Adalynn, and Jenny not to mention my mom and dad would never be able to see me walk down the wedding aisle.

I was about to to break down and tell Marzia everything until i heard нιѕ voice.

"Please don't cry you'll always and only have me" Jason said in a compassionately

"That's exactly what I don't want" I accidentally said aloud.

" Excuse me are you saying you don't want to go to prom with new? Your best friend? You're not being serious right now?!"

" What are you talking about of course I'm going with you to prom. It's not like anyone will ask me to be their date by I know someone will ask you. I mean Just look at you your GORGEOUS!"

I shouted the last word to make sure she knows that she truly is gorgeous

Marzia was blessed with great features she's about 5'6 has long brown hair with blond ombré, she has a pretty thin figure. Although she is a little busty in the front she is still an over small girl, with brown eyes, and her style is pretty similar to mine except she wears ᗩ ᒪOT of lace and pretty much anything with fringe.

" Aww.... Your really good at buttering people up aren't you? I forgive you anyways we're obviously not going to sit around all day how about a movie.... date?"

Marzia said it so fast that I already agreed before she finished her sentence I didn't know she said a movie date. I remember Jason telling to stay away from Parker and I didn't want to upset him.

" No no no I didn't know you said to bring a date I agreed going to a watch a movie."

"Don't 'no no no' me you said yes therefor you are you going with Parker, end of discussion."

" Fine but that doesn't mean I have to enjoy it"

"Trust me you'll have fun"

"So who are you taking as your date"

"I.... Umm... Can bring Elijah, I guess" Marzia blushed

"It's about time you went out on a date I've been shipping you guys together since sixth grade."

Elijah is Marzia's closest guy friend they've been pretty good friends since fourth grade, both of them are way to shy to just admit they like each other.

"Okay then so what are we going to wear?" I tapped my chin pretending to think really hard

We both smirked at each other and ran to Marzia's closet and picked out both of our outfits, luckily I was only two inches shorter most of her stuff fit me pretty well.

I wore a cute dark maroon colored sweater, paired with a white Peter Pan collar, dark blue jeans, combat boots, and two gold bracelets. I kept my makeup minimal and put on a light amount of gold eyeshadow, along with a light pink lipgloss and a side braid.

Marzia wore a long sleeved white blouse, light washed denim jeans, for shoes she wore white vans with white frilly socks showing from the top. For her makeup she dusted on a light pink eyeshadow and applied mascara, with nude lipstick and her stunning ombré hair continued to stay down.

Luckily while I was getting ready Marzia was calling Elijah and Parker to see if they wanted to go on a double date to the movie theaters. Marzia and I wanted to see The MazeRunner, we've heard many great reviews and are pretty excited see it. I'll admit I'm looking forward to this double date but it's what Jason will do after that terrifies me.
