Lana had awoken from her morning slumber with Jason hovering over her while giving her good morning kisses.

"Good morning doll"

Jason said continuing to kiss her lower and lower

"Jason! You're going to low!" Lana giggled

"I don't see you moving me away" Jason winked

"Jason!" Lana whined

Jason moved away and picked Lana up bridal style to take her down stairs. When they reached the kitchen Lana was amazed at the romantic decorations on the table.

He set Lana down in the chair "Happy birthday to my beautiful doll, to my beautiful girlfriend, and to my beautiful future wife. I love you Lana"

"Thank you so much for putting this together I love you so much Jason- you have no idea"

"Trust me doll I know" Jason chuckled

Jason got up from the table to get their breakfast and Lana's present

"I hope you like it's not much"

"No Jase it's fine I-"

Lana froze she was greeted with a small red box wrapped in a white ribbon; her mind began racing with thoughts.

This isn't what I think it is- I love Jason but he knows I'm not ready for marriage yet

She took a deep breath and opened the box with a smile, inside was a beautiful diamond necklace

Lana mentally sighed "Jason this is so beautiful! can you help me put it on now?"

"Of course"

Jason walked over to Lana putting on her necklace

"You spoil me so much Jase"

"Only the best for my doll and we also have reservations tonight at eight at the Signature Lounge"

My anxiety began to kick in realizing I would have be in front of so many people. What if I fall? What if I spill my drink on myself? What if-

"I almost forgot to mention I rented out the whole venue it'll only be us- and the chefs & waiter of course"

"Jase you didn't have to do that!"

"I wanted it to just be us two and by the looks of it you looked like you were about to pass out as soon I mentioned it"

"Sorry it's just my anxiety causes me to worry constantly"

"It's fine doll I know you can't control it lets enjoy our breakfast, shall we?"

"We shall" Lana said smiling at Jason across the table

Both Lana and Jason were seated enjoying their meals

"Fuck doll- my gosh you're so beautiful" Jason admired Lana with the biggest grin

Lana felt her face getting hot "Thank you Jase"

"You're so cute when you get flustered, but you know what you would look even cuter with?"

Jason kneeled down on one knee with tears in his eyes "Lana I know you're not ready for marriage but I just couldn't wait any longer to see a ring on your finger."

"Jase" Lana gasped

"This is the next best thing- so Lana will you take this promise ring to signify our love for each other?"

"Yes Jason! Yes!"

Jason slipped the promise ring on her which practically looked like an engagement ring

Lana observed the ring on her finger "I've never seen a diamond this big before- thank you I love it and I absolutely love you"

"I knew you would and of course I love you"

Jason said wrapping his hands around her waist

"Are you ready to go?"

"Yes I'm kinda tired actually"

Jason paid the bill leaving a heavily tip "Ok let's go then beautiful"

Jason and Lana arrived home but something felt off

"Jason are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine doll stay close to me okay"

Something must be wrong I can see it all over Jason's face

Jason and I were walking in the dark but he seemed to know where we were going. He attempted to turn on a light switch but it failed to turn on.

"We're leaving now Lana someone's here"

Suddenly the lights turned on and there stood Dylan in front of the door

"Leaving so soon?"

"Well if it isn't fucking Dylan who somehow risen from the dead" Jason said with a fake grin

"All thanks to the darkness"

Jason's grin dropped "Look Dylan you don't want to get involved with the darkness"

"It's a little to late for that- anyways I came here for Lana but I know she's not going to come with me willingly so I've compromised a deal"

"No I'm not nor am I ever going with you"

Lana said looking at Dylan disgusted

Dylan looked down at Lana noticing her ring "That's a beautiful ring you have on. Engagement ring perhaps?"

"It's not any of-"

"That's none of your business now keep your eyes off of my girl and talk to me"

"She won't be your girl for long if you lose this deal"

"I won't be losing a deal because I'm not saying yes to any deals"

"You don't have a choice Jason- so here's my offer Lana has exactly one month to say yes to your marriage proposal. But she will have the option to choose between the both of us. Whoever Lana does not choose will go back to being a lost soul never to be seen or heard from again." Dylan paused looking Lana in the eyes

"As for you Lana you might be thinking now you would never in a million years say yes to me. But you'll see just how difficult your decision will be a month from now."

"She knows in the end who truly loves her"

"Again we'll see in a month love you Lana and bye for now"

Within the blink of an eye Dylan disappeared leaving both of them staring in confusion

"What the fuck just happened?" Jason looked over at Lana

"I'm just as confused as you"

"Well he's completely lost his mind if he thinks you're going to be his one day"

"That's for sure"

Lana said confidently but couldn't help but wonder if Dylan was right

I guess we'll find out in a month
