Now before we get started I just want to say that I was inspired to write this story thanks to @AvengedMoon who wrote Izuku O' Conner, and it's pretty good.Alright now that I've gotten this out of the way, lets get to the story!
=================================================================
Not all people are created equal.
Of course that's always been the truth in this world. Superpowers known as Quirks have become the normal, with a profession being built out of it. With Heroes risking their lives to save civilians, they are given praise, fame, even wealth for all the work they put in. However, that is mostly during the day. During the night is when the real monsters and villains come out. Heroes that work the night jobs are always busy, trying to protect the civilians who are sleeping to see the next morning light.
However, there is always one thing that happens at night that neither heroes, nor police can manage to stop.
Street Racing.
The nights are constantly filled with people around the world in their respective countries coming together and meeting up with tuned up cars, women, and with a thrill to race. Even some pro heroes who are high on the popularity poll are included in the street racing scene, for this was one of the things they actually enjoyed. They settled differences with their cars and skill, instead of their combat abilities and how well they can save people.
Sometimes the birth of a truly talented driver is given to the world. He knew that being a hero wasn't what he wanted, but it was to be behind the wheel and putting the pedal to the metal. The roar of the many engines around the city at night was what he enjoyed listening to.
This was Izuku Yagi, a 12 year old boy who didn't possess a Quirk. He did however possess a natural talent to know about cars. It was what he enjoyed to do. However, with him being Quirkless brought forth a wave of neglect, and verbal abuse. He was tired of it all, but only stayed because he wanted to keep his younger sister happy. Sadly, he had reached his breaking point.
A knock on the door came to slightly startle Izuku as he was sitting by his open window. Looking back, he saw Izumi standing in the doorway.
"Izuku, what are you doing still awake?"
"Listen," he shushed her, letting the sounds of the distant roar of the engines in the city, "Can you hear those sounds, the sounds of racing happening."
Izumi came to the window as well, and heard what he did, she sighed, calming down alongside her big brother. This was how most of their nights went.
"Izumi, would you...hate me for running away," he asked her, causing her to look up at him.
"What?"
Izuku only shook his head, "I can't stand it anymore Izumi, I want to leave these people, but not you, Kat, or our aunts and uncles."
Izumi looked at him wondering what he was talking about, "Are mommy and daddy mean to you?"
"Yeah, they are, and I can't stand it anymore," Izuku admits, "I'm tired of being hurt by them, and by Katsuki."
"Oh. Well if you do, will you at least try and come back for me?"
He looked down and saw his sister's pleading eyes, "Of course I will. You won't be alone for too long."
She smiled and leaned on him, "As long as you come back, I won't hate you."
Izuku smiled, and carried his sister back to her room and she her down. She usually did come to his room and find him listening to the engines everynight, but the morning after was different than the others. It was a new day at school. With Izuku not caring about what happens to him, only that he wanted to drive, yet didn't have a car.
