Some people believe that aliens exist. Some people believe the complete opposite. Apparently, they do indeed exist. But they are not like the ones you see in the movies. These aliens are completely different from what humans think they look like. No, they do not have space ships. No, they do not spit out acid. No, they do not mindlessly wander galaxies in search for live prey.
These aliens have some similarities with humans; and so do their superiors. Their superiors are the planets of the Milky Way. In some galaxies, there is a council of a few planets, 1 moon, and 1 star. These councils are called "Galactic Planet Guardians". Otherwise known as G.P.G. Each member of a council had their role in their galaxy. Take for example, one planet would be the strongest. Another planet would be the cleverest. And so on, and so forth.
These councils are meant to protect their galaxy from any outside threats. But when aliens from a different planet declare war on another planet inside of the galaxy, the council is not allowed to do anything that may tamper with their battle. Though, they may help which side of the war they choose to help.
In every galaxy, there is always that one planet that has creatures that lack magical abilities. In the galaxy that you—the person reading this—are living in, Earth is the planet that has creatures that do not have powers. Due to humans not having any powers, it makes them vulnerable to any outsiders within the galaxy. Now, this is where our story starts...
Three mysterious figures were looking at the planet of Earth. Two male planets and one female planet, to be a little bit more precise. They were all staring at the planet with a worried look in their faces.
The mysterious woman looked at her accomplices and asked, "should we allow this war to happen? I do not wish for my planet to receive much more pain than it already is receiving."
"We also don't want you to be dragged into this mess as well, Earth. But you know the rules. We cannot do anything to stop this war," the shorter male planet replied.
Earth turned to her other friend. "Jupiter, you're their leader, are you not? Can't you try to call it off?" she demanded.
Jupiter remained quiet for a few more seconds. Then, he replied, "Mercury is right, Earth. You know what happens when we break the rules." He looked at Earth straight in the eyes. "Moon already lost one special planet to him. You wouldn't want him to loose another, do you?"
Earth did not reply. Instead, she only shook her head after a moment. "Sometimes, I dislike it when you're right." She added.
Jupiter smiled sympathetically. "I'm not the wisest planet for no reason," he said. He turned to his other friend, Mercury. "I have an errand for you, 3.825. You wouldn't mind doing it, would you?"
"Of course not, sir," Mercury replied immediately.
"Good," Jupiter said, "prepare to go to earth." He looked back at the planet. "After we find the Humans we can entrust these gifts to."
"I may have some suggestions for that," Earth said. Both planets immediately directed their attention to her. "I have heard these Humans say a certain quote. 'Always fight fire with fire'. So, suppose we could give the powers to the duplicates of your Darkans?" Earth suggested.
Jupiter glanced at the planet, then back at Earth. After a few seconds, he nodded. "You know these Humans more than us. Therefore, I trust you with this decision." He said, and Earth smiled lightly. "Can you guarantee that they won't misuse these gifts, though?" Jupiter added.
"Well, there is this one friend of theirs that I do not know what he might do with them. But I have my hopes on him," Earth answered.
"All right, I will go back to my planet and verify on who's calling the war. I'll come back here later," Jupiter said, then went on his way back to his planet.
Earth looked at him as he went. Then, Mercury put his hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry 5.9, the Humans will be all right." He reassured her. "I'll head to Starbucks to get some coffees before I go to earth. Want anything?" Mercury asked as he took his hand off. Earth shook her head. "No thank you, Mercury. I think caffeine is only going to make me more anxious."
"All right then. I'll need the Humans' names, faces, and locations," Mercury told her. "Oh and one more thing, I'll need to know one thing they really cherish. I don't wanna have to waste my time doing a glamour ritual." With that, he left to get his coffee.
Earth looked at her friend for a few seconds, then looked back at her planet. She closed her eyes. May you be guided in your battles against the creatures of Jupiter, she prayed in her mind. You're really going to need it. She opened her eyes, then started to search for the Humans she were to be trusting to defend her planet.
