The Supers Origin

The First Part

It was a normal Sunday afternoon. The early spring breeze was blowing gently through the city. This story starts with a girl named Elizabeth Cooper--mainly known as "Betty"-- that lives in Riverdale. Betty was your average American girl-next-door. She wasn't really rich, but she always excelled in her academic performances. She doesn't live through the "blondes are dumb" stereotype. But other than brains, Betty also has beauty--and personality. Since she's kind and sweet, she tends to be adored by most people.

Betty was currently running errands for her mother. While she was walking to her destination, she spotted her friend, Veronica. Now, unlike Betty, Veronica was extremely rich. Her father--Hiram Lodge--was a famous billionaire. Veronica always got what she wanted; especially since she was an only child. But unlike Betty, Veronica wasn't the brightest person in Riverdale high. Though, she was smart at some things like malls, makeup, dresses, and other things like those.

"Hey, Veronica!" Betty called out to her friend as she walked towards her. Veronica turned around to see who called for her. "What's up?" Betty asked when she reached her friend. "Nothing much," Veronica replied. "I was going to a mall to go shopping. Wanna come with me?" She asked.

Betty shook her head. "Sorry Ron, I have to run errands for my mom." Betty said. "Aw," Veronica slightly pouted. "Maybe next time, Ronnie." Betty told Veronica. "I better get going, I don't wanna get home late. See you tomorrow." She added. "See you!" Veronica replied. Then, both girls parted ways.

Little did the two friends know, they were being watched by the 3 planets from outer space. They all watched attentively at Betty, Veronica, and their other friends. "What was the black-haired girl's name?" Mercury asked Earth. "That was Veronica," she replied. "Her abbreviations are "Ron" and "Ronnie". The yellow-haired girl was Elizabeth. She prefers to go by "Betty". Her other abbreviation is "Betts"."

"Well, I already know what hero name to give both of them." Mercury said. "Time to stalk the other Humans." He added, with a grin. Earth shot him an annoyed glare. "I do not stalk humans." She huffed and crossed her arms. "I merely observe them. It's literally our job to do so."

"You do observe them... obsessively." Mercury said, wryly. "I've seen the way you look at them closely; as if you were addicted to a game or something." He added. Earth simply just rolled her eyes as a response. At that, Mercury chuckled. Then, he glanced at Jupiter and noticed his serious expression. "Sir, you all right?" He asked.

Jupiter did not respond for a moment. His eyes remained at the planet. He blinked slowly then looked at his two friends, smiling. "Yes, I am." He replied. "You sure? You seem more worried than Earth." Mercury asked. At that, Jupiter's expression became more serious. He looked back at earth and said, "I have to admit, I'm worried for these humans. You remember what they did to Pluto and Lunala, do you not? What if they offer a harder bargain this time?"

Both planets remained silent. After a few moments, Earth placed her hand on Jupiter; which caused him to look at her. "I'm just as distraught as you, my friend. But now, I believe they'll triumph against your Darkans." She said. Then, she added, "I mean no offense in any way, just to let you know."

"None taken," Jupiter replied. He looked back at the planet. "Now, who are we stalking next?" He asked. Mercury snickered at that while Earth rolled her eyes in annoyance. "I'm not the only one who has my abnormal hobbies." She said. Then, she looked at her planet. "Enough distractions, we shall observe Archie Andrews next." Earth told them.
With that, they began observing the rest of the soon-to-be heroes.
