A/N: After looking back at the previous chapters, I realized that I haven't showed the costumes of Reggie, Jughead, and Hot Dog. I currently don't have access to my iPad, which has their costumes. I don't know when I'll be able to get my iPad back, but I probably will at the end of summer. For now, we could make an explanation that Reggie, Jughead, and Hot Dog were given costumes off-story. As for Dilton, he found an old lab coat and used it as his costume. I'm also aware that I don't post chapters often. That's because I have no clue what to write, and I have no motivation most of the time. I do apologize, but I'm not sure if I'll change the habit. Still, I hope you enjoyed the story so far, and I hope you'll enjoy this chapter.————————
In jupiter, a certain Darkan scientist was in his laboratory preparing to go somewhere. He gathered a few of his inventions to bring in case something would go out of plan. After packing, he went to the table in the middle of his room and began tapping some buttons on the holograms. He waited on an empty wall before it separated itself and revealed a huge mechanism. The mechanism was taken out; the scientist jumped onto its arm, then onto the top and inside the machine.
He made himself comfortable before enforcing the steps to properly turn the machine on.
"Here we go," he muttered to himself. The boy reached into his bag and withdrew a small remote. He pressed a button—the roof of the room suddenly opened. The boy pulled hard on two levers in front of him. Then, fire and smoke came from the calves of the mechanism's legs. It began flying up above.
The Darkan was now on his way to Riverdale.

There was one more period until school came to an end.
Betty was currently helping Veronica with the lesson—their teacher had given them free time, so Veronica took the chance to get tutored by her friend.
"When do you think we'll have to act as superheroes?" Veronica suddenly asked, there was an underlying hint of unease in her voice.
Betty paused her explanation of the topic. She decided to indulge in the new conversation. "I don't know, but I hope soon!" she replied.
"Soon?" Veronica repeated softly.
Betty raised an eyebrow, as though sensing her discomfort. "Don't you want this, Ron?"
Veronica fiddled with her fingers briefly before sighing. She looked at her friend with a soft frown. "I just... I don't know about this. What if I mess up and the villain ends up destroying everything and everyone in Riverdale?"
Betty smiled and held her hand. "Hey, you have me and the Gang," she reassured her. "All cliché as it sounds, you're not alone in this. We'll have your back!"
Veronica reciprocated the smile a moment later. She then pulled Betty into a hug. "You're just the sweetest, Betty!"
"I'm just being a good friend, Ronnie."
Suddenly, everyone felt a rumble; they froze. Dust began falling from the edges of the roof. Then, the roof of the school came off. Some students bolted up and let out surprised sounds.
Meanwhile, Mr. Weatherbee, the principal, immediately turned on the speaker and ordered everyone to evacuate the building. They all did so.
