Coming Back To You

~Fifteen~

Bella's POV

After we went to McDonalds, we went to the park and just talked about random stuff.  Then we walked home, him on the outside of the sidewalk, and that brings me here now.

We're sitting on my couch with a warm cup of Jasmine tea, which is delicious by the way, and we were just about to watch a movie.

"So what movie do you want to watch?" I asked him taking a sip

"I don't know, any suggestions?"

"How about a horror movie?" I asked because I really liked horror movies

"Sure?" He asked more himself than me

"Are you afraid of horror movies?"

"W-what? No of course not! I can handle a silly little movie."

Sure Nick, sure

I put on one of my favorite horror movies and I saw Nick's body tense out of the corner of my eye and I laughed on the inside

As the movie just started, I felt Nick scoot closer to me.

Not afraid of horror movies my butt.

Since I've seen this movie before, I decided not to tell him when the jumpscares were. It was getting close to one where a ghost covered in blood stabs a side character because of their wrongdoings, but I didn't tell him when. You could say this is kind of like "Nightmare on Elm Street" because you can see the character's blood and organs and stuff, but I didn't get scared.

Stab

I felt Nick jolt and grab my arm. I turned to look at him with an amused face and found him staring at the tv with wide eyes while breathing heavily. I burst out laughing and he looked at me confused. Probably because I didn't get scared but his face was priceless

"How did you not get scared?"

"I don't know, how did I not get scared?" I asked him and his once terrified look turned into an 'are you serious' one and I once again burst out laughing.

"You picked this movie on purpose just to scare me didn't you?"

"Nooooooo" I said sarcastically

As if I knew what was going to happen, I jumped up and ran around my house with him chasing me. It went on for a few minutes of him catching up with me but me outrunning him over and over again and it was the most fun I've had in my life.

"I'm gonna get you one way or another, bella, so don't waste your energy." Nick yelled towards me while taking speed walking towards me with long strides.

I ran into the kitchen while he followed quickly and ran around the island. The island being the only thing that separated me from him. If I moved right, he moved left, if he moved right, I moved left. This went on for a few minutes until I tricked him by pretending to go right and then sprinting to the left like my life depended on it. I got to my room and turned around to close the door, but his foot caught it.

He slowly walked in and stalked towards me in big strides. I slowly backed up, with each tiny step I take, he takes one big step closer and closer to me until my back hits a wall

Who's side are you on wall?!

I looked up at his tall 6 foot 5 figure as he placed both his hands on either side of my head and leaned his head down until our faces were centimeters apart.

We were still breathing heavily from running with our breaths being the only sound in the room

His eyes flicked from my eyes to my lips as mine did the same

"Can I kiss you?" He asked his breaths getting steadier

As much as I wanted him to, I couldn't let myself cave in that easily. Plus, I didn't want to make myself look easy. What if this was all a dare or something? Then I would get my heart broken and I can't go through another heartbreak

As I was about to tell him that, until I heard a scream and realized that we left the tv on. He seemed to have remembered too because we both burst out laughing and after our laughing was over, he threw an arm over my shoulders and we both walked back to the couch

We settled down on the couch and after a while I was getting cold so I got a blanket and spread it over both of our legs and cuddled a pillow.

The movie was almost over until my eyes got drowsy. I didn't know it was that late since I almost always get sleepy around 1 in the morning. I was at that half-awake but half-asleep phase and I could feel my head tipping towards my right until I felt Nick shift to pull me to lay in his arms, pull the blanket over my shoulders and wrap his arms around me

The last thing I heard was his voice, but it's what he said that would get stuck in my head

"You're making me crazy. What am I going to do?"

And everything went black
