A little child ran across the road, the night making nothing more than a shadow.

When they reached the snow, they shoved away snow with their mittens until the ground underneath was seen.

The child took out a red marker and began to draw, moving as they moved to another area to draw at.

Some moments passed, and they stood up and took a good look. And it was confirmed:they had drawn a perfect pentagram.

The child pulled out a book with a pentagram like the one they had just drawn on the cover.

It looked like some Satanic book! And it probably was.

The child raised up the book, cleared their throat, and began to speak.

"Videat lumen in...agrobare tenebras...movere membra tua...surge de sepulcro tuo...et respira iterum," they spoke.

The pentagram they drew on the ground brightened, and slithering, Snake-like, hissing sounds were heard from it. Then, an arm reached out of the pentagram and pushed against the ground, then proceeded to heave themselves out.

And there...right there...it stood.

If there was some light, you could've seen the child crack a smile.

"It worked..." they said, voice cracking.
