Shelly stared, tears starting to form in her eyes, as her father looked at her with eyes that wouldn't take their gaze off her.

One side...was normal. The normal Randy she had known. But the other side...it was the Monstrous side. All pitch-black with the other part of his mouth and other eye red, and so...distorted.

...The spear was also still stuck in his "Monster" eye.

Shelley was aware of the equally shocked, frozen state of Pip at this moment.

She slowly, shakily walked towards her father.

With a step.

And another step.

And another.

And another.

Until she was an inch away from him.

"Dad..." she breathed.

"Sh...Shelley...?" he grunted.

Shelley lashed out a fist and punched her dad in his not-so-good eye now.

"AGH! WHAT THE FUCK!?" her dad exclaimed, clutching his "normal, Human" eye.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM, ATTACKING US LIKE THAT!? YOU LITTLE TURD!" Shelley shouted angrily.

"I FOUND OUT THAT MY DAD IS STILL ALIVE AFTER GOING THROUGH THE PAIN WITH BELIEVING THAT MY PARENTS ARE DEAD, RIGHT AFTER MY LITTLE BROTHER DIES, AND HE ATTACKS ME!? UGH!!" she went on.

"Shelley...what the fuck are you talking about?" Randy rasped, trying to look at her with both his eyes. He wasn't doing very well.

"DON'T PLAY DUMB, TURD! YOU ATTACKED ME AND PIP AND SCARED OFF IKE!" Shelley spat, having had enough.

"Ello," said Pip awkwardly, popping out from behind Shelley and waving his hand a little.

"P-Pip...? Ike...? You mean...the annoying British blonde and that close friend of Stan's younger brother...?" he asked.

"YEAH...!" answered Shelley, growing even more impatient.

"Sh-Shelley...I literally have no idea what you're talking about...and why the fuck is there a spear in my eye...it fucking hurts...I wake up for I don't know how fucking long it took and suddenly there's a fucking spear in my eye and my daughter is alive and okay but she's covered in wounds and she punches me," croaked Randy.

Shelley was surprised by how genuinely confused yet kind of worried he sounded.

"My dearest apologies, sir. You see, you were seriously injuring Shelley, and I had to do some-" but before Pip could finish his sentence, Randy shouted,"I'm sorry, I was WHAT!?" Shelley groaned.

"Don't you remember? You were attacking me and Pip and were all this...evil identify," she explained.

"I...I...don't...remember..." Randy trailed off.

Everything was silent.

Shelley could only think to herself. Did...Did her dad...really not mean it...? Not remember it?

The silence went on. And on.

Until then, Randy broke the silence.

"Can someone please take out this spear, it really fucking hurts!" he shouted.

"Oh, righty-oh, sir!" Pip said.

He walked towards Randy and yanked it out.

"YAAAAHAHHGHGH!!! FUCK!!!!" shouted Randy in pain, clutching his "Monster" eye with his other hand.

"DAD!" exclaimed Shelley.

"Oh, sorry!" exclaimed Pip.

                             * * *

Randy stared at the little handheld mirror Shelley had gave to him to see his reflection.

One side:normal. The other side:not normal. Freaky, in fact. Like he was some sort of Human-Monster hybrid.

He looked back at his daughter and the annoying blondie Pip, who giving bandaging the nasty wound on her shoulder.

Had he REALLY given that to her?

His own daughter?

He just...had to process things. He wakes up for who knows how long, and he finds his daughter. He should be happy, yet, their reunion is not very great. Turns out he "attacked" her and the annoying Brit who goes to the school his son goes to, and now he's half-Monster, it appears.

And most of all...where was Sharon and Sparky? Were THEY okay?

Randy slowly edged towards the two kids, and asked,"Hey, Shelley, where...where are Sharon and Sparky?" Shelley looked at him.

"Well...Sparky's okay! He's at home..." she trailed off. She looked dully down.

"Um...where are we now, then?" asked Randy as he gazed around at these long, grassy yet clean hedges and flowers sprouted all over them.

"Well, we appear to be in this garden-like "maze" where it always seems to be night," said Pip.

Randy could barely process that.

"Wh...Where is Sharon?" he finally asked.

Shelley couldn't speak. She stared. His mouth slightly open, yet not a single word came out.

A grim gaze was now on Pip at the mention of Randy's wife.

It took that for him to realize it. And it all flashed back to the...attack.

"That...That..." he stammered, eyes wide.

"...THAT BASTARD!" he shouted, a mix of anger yet sadness blazing inside of him.

"WHERE IS HE!?" he asked, whipping back to Shelley.

"I...don't know. He's been gone ever since that attack..." Shelley trailed off, looking down grimly.

Randy could only look down at his legs. "Jesus Christ..." he muttered.

There was a moment of silence.

Until Pip's voice broke through.

"Well, Mr. Marsh, is there anything else you might possibly remember?" he asked. He probably-no, definitely-wanted to change the subject, especially with the darkness of Sharon's death.

Randy slumped  back. "Well..." he trailed off.

As he looked into his memories, an unsettling darkness broke into him. A familiar one. One that he didn't want to remember. And a horrible pain. And anger. And a voice that he wanted to punch in the face.

"HIM. HE MADE ME LIKE THIS...THAT FUCKING JERKASS," he growled.

Shelley could tell. He just knew it. "We'll teach that turd what we think of him. We. Will. I'll make sure of it," she said coldly as she stood up.

"But right now...we need to find Ike," she said.
