Wendy ended up landing on her butt on the snow, after being taken back by shock of the tree suddenly falling and the horrid, deafening CRASH that came.

She heard a scream of pain.

Stan.

She stared-wide eyed-at Stan pinned under the tree, screaming in pain, his hat now on the side of his head. Tears were coming out of his eyes and some blood ran down his head, along with some blood dappling the snow.

The flower that Stan had tried to give her was just between the two of them.

Wendy felt like screaming, but nothing came out.

She heard gasps and screams coming from other children nearby.

"STAN!" a horrid scream came from Kyle.

"Oh dear...TEACHERS!" she heard Pip shout. She heard the quick foot steps of him running away.

                             * * *

By the time Wendy heard more foot steps coming, the playground was full of children panicking and crying.

"JESUS CHRIST!" she heard a scream come from Chef.

She felt hands pull her up and push her away. She saw that it was Prinicpal Victoria, who stared at Stan with wide eyes. "Oh God bless it..." she breathed.

"Mr. Mackey, get the nurse!" Principal Victoria shouted as she looked at Mr. Mackey.

"DOES IT LOOK LIKE A NURSE WILL BE ABLE TO FIX THAT!?" Mr. Mackey shouted.

"We told you not to go near that tree!" shouted Mr. Garrison.

"Hold on, I'll call an ambulance, m'kay? Pip, go and comfort your little friends Butters and Dougie, they look like they really need it, m'kay?" Mr. Mackey said as he fumbled for his phone.

"Righty-oh!" said Pip as he ran off to go comfort his friends.

As Mr. Mackey started to call an ambulance, the teachers begin to try to console the terrified students.

Principal Victoria tried to comfort a terrified, crying Kyle and a scared Eric and Kenny, while Mr. Garrison tried to get a horrified Bebe and Timmy away from the mess, and Chef tried to console a screaming Tweek Tweak. Wendy was also aware of Tolkien and Clyde-who had stopped playing on the swings-staying close to each other, horrified, as if trying to find comfort in each other. But over all the screaming and crying, Wendy kept nearly all her focus on Stan.

Horror swarmed inside of her as she watched him.

She couldn't tell which was which:Stan screaming or the kids screaming.

Her breathing quickened as the image of Stan screaming, crying, bleeding, and pinned under the tree burned into her mind.

Before she even knew it, she was taking shaky steps towards him.

She fell onto her knees in front of Stan and began to let out "hics" and she realized that tears were forming in her eyes.

She shakily reached out and held Stan's hand, resisting the urge to gag at the blood she felt touching her.

"I've called the ambulance, they'll be here soon, m'kay?" said Mr. Mackey. Wendy could barely hear his words.

She could've sworn Stan had given her a desperate, pained, and panicked gaze while screaming and crying.

Wendy was then once again pulled back by Principal Victoria.

"I-It's going to be alright, Stan," Principal Victoria tried to reassure him.

At the corner of her eye, Wendy could see Kelly P. Gardner, hiding behind Red McArthur, who looked horrified, mouth gaping.

The screaming and crying felt so loud and deafening, it took over her ears, and  she didn't even know if she could hear Stan's screaming anymore.

Until a crying scream started to die down and let out "hics" and choke, before going silent.

Silence came.

Wendy just stared.

"...He stopped breathing..." was all Principal Victoria could say.
