Stan's screams burned throughout the mind.

Wendy woke up with a scream.

And she was back in her bedroom.

She shakily got out of bed, sniffling, tears in her eyes, all those terrible memories coming back.

He was still gone.

And she would NEVER get his last moments out of her head.

Wendy headed downstairs, still shaking, breathing quickly, trying to get her nightmare off of her mind.

She slowly made it to the couch and sat down.

And then, it played:the news.

"Breaking News:Two kids, Leopold "Butters" Stotch and Dougie O'Connell have gone missing," Tom reported on the TV.

Wendy's mouth gaped in shock. First the strange garden growing in THIS kind of weather, and now two kids she knew going missing!?

"And now to Chris, who is interviewing the devastated parents," Tom continued.

It cut to Chris Swollenballs.

"Thanks Tom, I am here with the devastated family," he said as he gestured towards Butters' parents, the words "devastated parents" on below them.

"Unfortanetley, I could not get Dougie's parents, but I could get Butters' parents," Chris said.

"A few words from the devastated parents of Butters," said Chris as he pointed the microphone towards them.

Linda Stotch, Butters' mother, sniffled, using a tissue to wipe away her tears.

"Oh Butters, where are you?" Linda choked out, starting to cry again.

"Butters, please come back, we promise we'll only ground you for no more than two weeks," said Stephen Stotch, Butters' father, sounding like he was moments away from tears.

Chris out the mic to him again.

"Back to you, Tom," he said.

"Thanks Chris. We have also gotten reports of the "garden" of flowers having started growing more into South Park. It is required to be careful and for kids to be accompanied with adults, probably stay indoors most of the time, and to NOT ever go near the "garden" as it has been reported to try to attack," reported Tom as it cut back to him.

Wendy could only stare in dread at all the disasters happening.

The "garden" was growing larger and was starting to invade South Park and would try to attack others, two kids had gone missing, and one of them was BUTTERS.

She remembered how she at yelled at him, and guilt swarmed her.

She had never even got to apologize to him.

Suddenly, she heard shouting.

She looked at the window and saw Jimbo, Stan's uncle, and Sergeant Harrison Yates-also known as Detective Harris for short-arguing.

Wendy got off of the couch and opened the door and went outside, ignoring the coldness her bare feet felt and the fact that she was wearing just her pajamas.

"What do you mean we can't hold my sister's funeral!?" Jimbo was shouting.

"Look, two children have gone missing and there are dangerous flowers growing near us that could kill us, so we have other serious things to deal with, and it's important for you all to mostly stay indoors for now, Officer Barbrady's orders!" Detective Harris explained, although not in a very friendly tone.

"Aren't YOU the main detective of the police station!? How come you didn't try to reason with him!?" shouted Jimbo.

"Everyone else In the police station insists," said Detective Harris, rolling his eyes.

"Well what about my sister!? She's dead, and the least we can do is honor her with a funeral!" Jimbo shouted, Wendy could've swearing he had tears in his eyes.

"And what about her husband!? Randy's missing! He could still be alive like Sparky and Shelley, yet you still don't go looking for him! And Sparky and Shelley just survived a horrible attack, and we still haven't got any clue who was the attacker!" he continued.

"Look, we've got other things to deal with, so if you could just let us deal with this AFTER we find those two missing children and find out how to get rid of that "garden" that would be a big help," Detective Harris simply replied.

Jimbo gritted his teeth in outrage and stomped away.

Wendy was shocked at how ignorant Detective Harris had been.

She felt like confronting him, but she probably wouldn't be taken seriously in her pajamas.

So she ran back inside, changed into her usual outfit, and ran back outside, only to find him gone.

"Damn it," she mumbled.

She rubbed her chin as she thought.

If she were Detective Harris, where would she be?

It then came to her.

Thimose strange bushes and flowers!

She quickly ran towards where it was and sure enough, there was the police officers observing it.

"Yates! Yates!" she called as she ran up to him.

Detective Harris looked down at her.

"Hey, this is no for little kids to be near, this is a serious, dangerous thing," he said sternly.

"But-" but before Wendy could finish her sentence, Detective Harris said even more sternly,"No excuses. Go back to a more safer place, like your home." Wendy grumbled and walked away.

Well, that didn't work.

It felt like People who were meant to be authority figures were even more ignorant than actual kids like her.
