✦✧✦Neither Chan nor Changbin was doing very great in their current situations.
Chan was mad at himself and as much as Changbin was trying to help, nothing was working which only resulted in him also feeling awful.
Everything fell apart without Jisung there, they couldn't even kiss each other simply because it felt wrong without him being there. Not that doing so would help anything at the moment anyway.
Chan was happy to see that Jisung was back to riding the bus at his usual time, no longer staying hours more than he should.
Except now there was someone else with him as well. A guy with dyed light brown hair, a little bit taller than Jisung, around Chan's age. He was cute though Chan would never admit it, he felt jealous every time Jisung walked onto the bus with him.
He missed being the person who made Jisung smile the moment he walked onto the bus, he missed holding onto his hand and listening to Jisung rant about the random drama between his co-workers until they made it to Chan's apartment where he got to watch Jisung greet his best friend with a huge smile and a hug. He missed Jisung's presence.
He wanted to pull Jisung onto his lap and never let go of him every time the younger walked past him, he wanted to rant to him and tell him how much he missed him and loved him, but he couldn't.
One day, Jisung and his coworker were sitting next to each other, right across from Chan since that was the only open spot.
Jisung was sitting near the window since he preferred doing so, and the other guy was sitting next to Chan.
"Jisungg," the guy said, seeming as though he was trying to get his attention but Jisung was very obviously attempting to ignore him, keeping his gaze on whatever was outside of the window.
"Han Jisung!"
Chan heard a small giggle come from the younger which made his heart skip a beat still as he continued ignoring him.
He was at least happy that Jisung seemed to be doing a bit better now though he also seemed to be sad the first few days after their breakup. He was a bit envious that most of the reason as to why he was happier now was because of the guy next to him but he would rather him be doing it than no one at all.
"Hannie," the man said, suddenly moving closer to him, finally causing Jisung to turn toward him, pressing his head onto the window, surprised to see him inches away from his own face.
"You're so annoying," Jisung mumbled with a laugh.
"You broke my heart and now you won't even talk to me," He said dramatically, holding onto his heart.
"I'm not talking to you because you broke my favorite pen," Jisung said, trying to sound serious but he ended up laughing.
"I'll buy you a new one. You broke my heart. That's worse."
"Oh no. I'm so sorry. What can I do to fix it?" Jisung asked sarcastically.
He smirked and moved even closer to him, holding a hand to the side of his face.
"Eww, Minho no," Jisung shoved his face away and ended up leaning his head onto the guy's shoulder, just as he used to with Chan. Though he knew that it wasn't out of the ordinary for him, he was like this with his roommates as well.
Chan was curious as to whether the two were just friends.
"Now you have to leave me," Minho fake cried once they got to Jisung's stop.
"I'll see you, tomorrow idiot," Jisung shook his head and gave him a quick hug before walking off of the bus, now leaving Minho sitting beside Chan in awkward silence.
"Umm...are you dating him?" Chan asked, gaining Minho's attention. He knew it wasn't really any of his business but he needed to know the answer.
"No, we're just friends and coworkers. I flirted with him a lot when I first started working with him but he said that he likes someone else."
Minho was fully aware of who he was talking to. He asked Jisung to point him out the day Jisung had told him about Chan. Chan, however, didn't think Jisung would ever mention him but it was strange how Minho was telling him all of this information instead of simply saying no.
"Oh."
"If you want to get him back you should probably start trying harder."
"What?" Chan asked, looking at him with wide eyes.
"He's not just gonna randomly decide that he can trust you again. You have to earn his trust back."
"He's talked about me?"
"I don't know that much," Minho clarified. "I just know that you said some things that really upset him and I know who you are because I asked him to point you out to me."
"I don't know how to get his trust back."
"With Jisung- well I haven't known him for that long but I think the number one thing is probably consistency. I didn't talk to him one day because I had a lot of work to do and he thought that I was mad at him for something. I think he mainly just needs reassurance that you care enough to consistently try."
"Do you like him?" Chan asked Minho.
"I was definitely interested in him when I first met him but I think we're better off as friends," Minho replied honestly. "But if you take too much longer to do anything then maybe I'll change my mind."
He was joking, but Chan didn't know him well enough to be aware of that.
"It was nice meeting you," Minho said, knowing that they were now at Chan's stop.
"Yeah, you too."
Chan walked up to his apartment, immedietly going to Changbin's room which was something that he had stopped incorporating into his schedule ever since the argument with Jisung.
"Hey, Binnie."
"Hi," Changbin said, looking at him with wide eyes, "what's up?"
"Do you wanna come with me to our studio to write a song for Jisung?"
"I would love to."
