"Why are you being so clingy?" Changbin groaned as Chan practically jumped on top of him and pulled him into a tight hug the second he got home.

"You know that cute boy that I see on the bus ride home?"

"You only mention him about 3 times a day," Changbin replied, trying to move his friend's arms away from him.

"I talked to him today."

"Wow, it only took you 3 months to make the slightest bit of progress."

"I asked him out."

"You what?"

"There were no other seats when he got onto the bus today so he asked if he could sit next to me and then we started talking and he was really nice and cute so I asked him on a date and he said yes."

Changbin looked at him suspiciously as he finally made Chan let go of him so that he could breathe properly.

"He's as cute as you described him AND he agreed to go on a date with you that easily?"

"And he looked adorable today. He was wearing a white hoodie with blue overalls and-"

"Please shut up."

"What if he starts sitting with me every day now?"

"I regret agreeing to be your roommate already. But yeah, if you start dating each other I would assume that you would."

"Would you rather still be living with your parents?"

"No, but I also wasn't aware that you fanboy over your crush like a middle school girl."

"I usually don't."

"That's because you usually just look for hookups. Is that what you're doing with this guy too?"

"No," Chan denied.

"Do you even know what his name is?"

"We didn't really get that far."

"Chan- that's like the first thing you ask someone you're just meeting. What did you even talk about?"

~flashback~

Chan sat at his usual spot in the very back of the bus which was, for some reason, way more crowded than it usually was.

He smiled a bit to himself once he saw fluffy brown hair turn around the corner as the boy got onto the bus and pouted a bit once he realized that there were no free seats.

Chan quickly looked down so that he wouldn't look suspicious but soon enough he saw that someone was now standing right in front of him.

Then he looked up and saw the boy that had been managing to gain his attention since he had begun riding the bus without him even trying to.

"Do you mind if I sit next to you?" He questioned and Chan immediately moved over to give him space.

"It's really crowded today," Chan said with an awkward laugh, hoping to spark a conversation with the cute boy.

"There's an event going on at a cafe so that might be why."

"Are you going?"

"I was going to but I'm too tired," the boy explained with a small pout, and Chan looked at him and suddenly had the urge to ask him what he had been wanting since the first day he saw him on the bus.

Usually asking people out wasn't a difficult thing for him to do but the cute boy next to him suddenly made it seem terrifying.

"This is really random but we ride the bus together almost every day and I just wanted to say that I think you're really cute."

The boy's face flushed pink upon hearing Chan's compliment, "Oh- umm thank you."

"Would you maybe like to go on a date with me sometime?"

Jisung's eyes widened as his lips parted to say something but he stopped himself to think about what his next words should be.

Truth was, he was cute but he was also extremely shy and had never been in this sort of situation before. He had never even been on a date before and suddenly the handsome dude on his bus had asked him on one.

The situation itself was a bit sketchy and he was aware of that in the back of his mind...but at the same time, it was Chan.

"Sorry- this is probably really weird I just-"

"Sure," Jisung finally replied, showing him a small smile.

"Oh...Okay." Chan said, trying to fight the urge to pinch the boy's cheeks upon him smiling.

"This is my stop though," Jisung said as he looked out the window once he felt the bus slow down. "I'll see you tomorrow !"

"So he doesn't know your name either," Changbin said with a sigh.

"Nope."

"You're both idiots."

"No, we just didn't have time to figure that part out."

"Chan you asked him on a date before you asked what his name is."

"Needed to get the important question out of the way first?"

"I'm surprised you didn't scare him. Actually, you probably did. How much do you wanna bet that he won't be on the bus tomorrow?"

"He will be," Chan said as he stood up from the couch and began walking toward his room. "Goodnight Bin."
